I clocked when he was joint leader going into the last MOM, despite not
helping my cause I was hoping he would birdie it to give you the outright
1st round leader, I’m a big fan of 1st round betting. That was a sore one.
As you say, he’s in a great position, and even with 3 rounds to go, you’d
have to fancy him to go on and win this the way he’s been playing of late.
I backed him the last 2 weeks, then left him alone this week as I thought
the 6/1 looked too skinny. It looks bloody huge nowJuly 3, 2020 at 13:02 #1492542BigG Wolf going okay so far for me today 4- he is
While Redman could been 1st round leader bet for me found out was 66/1 joint leader he was
July 3, 2020 at 16:55 #1492555Wow Darren, your man Wolf is having the round of a lifetime
He’s 9 under for his round and leader at 12 under with a
couple to play. Yes pity you didn’t have Redman down in
the 1st round market, even though it was shared it would
still have been a nice return.A few of mine have disappointed in the 1st round so they
need to get a move on. Hovland is out on the course, and
is on the march with a 5 under round with 1 to go. He’s
8 under, so he’ll need another good one on moving day.
Varner is in the same bracket, 4- today to get to 6
under with 1 to play, but he’s hit a peach to the par 3
18th so he should end on 7-.Raymo your man Stuard had a good day, 5- for his round
and only 3 off the lead. He’s looking well in there at
90/1. Good luck mateJuly 3, 2020 at 17:30 #1492557I will wait till moving day to get excited guys
Stuard doing good Varner not bad Fowler not far away but yet to start today and same Armour. Only blip so far is Sneds!!July 4, 2020 at 11:49 #1492652My best bets in golf are my 2 outsiders Wolff and Armour the latter you on Raymo going be a crazy weekend i feel in golf
July 4, 2020 at 19:06 #1492769Think the winner will be over twenty under Darren!!
Not my kind of golf. I like to see them win with less than ten under and that shows how tough the course is but with all this new equipment and the gym they need to do something !
Either make the balls not go so far or make the rough long and narrow the fairways to force them to hit it straight!!Good Luck Guys
July 4, 2020 at 23:37 #1492809Your two Darren and my man Bryson look set to fight it between them tomorrow then with a gap back to the fourth.
Good luck lads
July 5, 2020 at 17:44 #1492951Agree MOM i still not belive both my outsiders in final 2ball hope one of them win it
July 5, 2020 at 18:02 #1492955Jesus Darren, that would be some forecast you have at the top of the table.
At 125/1 and 150/1 that’s some doing. I’ve got a outside chance of the places
with Hovland, who you have too, but I’m absolutely rooting for either of your
top 2. No disrespect to you MOM, I’m not puting the heebie-jeebies on your man
Dechambeau, it’s just that at the odds it would be some win for Darren. If they
fall away, I’ll revert to a Mom Groupie and raa-raa cheer for your man.
Did I get away with that oneJuly 6, 2020 at 02:43 #1493040Great stuff MOM, DeChambeau is playing a different game to everyone else at the
moment, that 2nd to the 18th 3 feet from the pin, pressure, what pressure
Just a pity he had that slip up at the 18th in the 1st round, you would have cleaned
up with all your deChambeau bets. Well done with the winDarren, seems a strange thing to say it’s a sore one with a 125/1 place and a 150/1
place, but the nerves played a part with Wolff early on and he looked like he was
out of it after the 10th when 3 over for his round, but he rallied and came home
strong with 4 birdies in the last 6 holes. That putt on the 17th, how the @?$! did
that stay up I hope your cat was well out the way Darren or it was in
danger of getting launched out the window Anyway, less of the negative
stuff, it was 2 great placed players at HUGE odds, very well done
sirWell done Raymo with Armour too, 125/1 place, that’s a very nice little earner
You just missed out on a place by 1 shot with Fowler too, as I did with Hovland who was
1 step forward and 2 steps back all day. It’s just as well my horses came to my rescue
this weekend or it would financial armageddonThe John Deere is cancelled for next week, we have the Workday Charity Open, whatever
that is when it’s at homeGood luck next week guys
July 6, 2020 at 16:25 #1493063Well done MOM with Bryson
BigG am happy with Wolff and Armour placed at big prices but gutted Wolff not win to mate
Raymo also on Armour to well done
July 6, 2020 at 16:31 #1493065Bets for Workday charity open a strange thing this week and next week be at the same course at Muirfield village so course form is the memorial.
HIDECKI MATSUYAMA 16/1
He is starting to come back to form he did ok last week and signs coming to the boil now and be happy here he won 1st PGA Tour title and don’t be shocked if do the same on sunday.
JOAQUIM NIEMANN 45/1
This whizz kid on debut here was 54hole leader here before fading to 6th but that showed the talent he got 2 years on a PGA Winner much improved player to.
SHANE LOWRY 90/1
Been 15th here before only 1win in America that came at Bridgestone which if look at that course form it holds up here Matsuyama won at both venues to.
EMILLIANO GRILLO 100/1
Loves a demaninding test and this player from Argentina enjoys it here been 5th here before and after good 1st round last week can do better here
KYLE STANLEY 125/1
Lost a playoff here to De Chambeau but has other form here and at a massive price is worth a go here.
Good luck guys this week
July 6, 2020 at 22:22 #1493094Thanks lads. Much appreciated. Not often I have 4 points each way but he just seemed a nice price with that recent form as an each way certainty. For him to win is cracking. Delighted.
Darren I couldn’t help but feel slightly bad but for wanting my lad so badly when you had two at those prices! On normal weeks, I’d have cheered your lads home! But two players at those prices is still some effort.
Raymo as well with the 125/1 Armour bet. Lovely stuff. Well in bud.
And BigG you too probably deserved Hovland to place. He played a strange tournament with loads of birdies but too many bogeys straight after gaining one. Really quite unlucky for you I thought.
Once again cheers lads and good luck with the Charity Open if you play. I see Darren you already have. Good luck pal. I’m 50/50 atm whether I get involved as I know very little of the tournament or the course but I will decide in the next couple of days and post my bets up if I do.
July 7, 2020 at 17:09 #1493172Bets for Austrian open.European tour is back guys
ANTOINE ROZNER 40/1
Should won in Maurituis but lost a playoff and during time off won a local event in France beat Havert in playoff i feel course suits him this week everychance of breaking duck here.
ADRI ARNAUS 16/1
This ball strking beast be very happy golf is back was showing decent signs before the covid break and of those near the top can challenge those big names.
TAPIO PULKANEN 45/1
A feeling for me is players from Finland do well here and this guy be happy with events coming up in the UK
but before that can make a impact here.MATTHEW BALDWIN 90/1
The type of player who be well suited here he is and got experiance on European tour to do something here
July 8, 2020 at 13:48 #1493206Austrian Open
Conor Syme 25/1 (40/1 1st round leader market)
I think that Syme has the best form figures of anyone in the field. Just
before the break in March he played well and T10 in the Oman Open. He was
consistent without getting his head in front last year with 7 top 10s
including a win on the Challenge Tour in the Turkish Challenge. I’ve
always kept an eye on how he’s doing after that superb 62 in the Scottish
Open 2 years back, that was as good a round as I’ve seen. If he can come
anywhere near that kind of form he would run away with this.Lorenzo Gagli 30/1 (40/1 1st round leader market)
This is going to be tough this week with no recent form to go on, so the gut
is going point me in the right direction. At least I know that Gagli was in
decent form before the enforced break, Tied 10th and 12 at Oman and Qatar. I
was impressed with him when he was runner up at the European Masters last
september, he needed 3 birdies in the last 4 holes to get into the play off
and got them. He lost out in the play off to a 1st hole birdie by Soderberg
but it was a good effort. Has got as good a chance as any.Bernd Ritthammer 100/1 (80/1 1st round leader market)
As current form doesn’t exist, I think there could be a mini shock
winner. He hasn’t got that win under his belt yet, but it was only a
superb last round by Casey that denied him a play-off chance in the
European Open last september. More recently a top 20 finish at the
Limpopo Championship in February at least showed he was in decent
form before the break.Ricardo Gouveia 110/1 (80/1 1st round leader market)
This is a wing and a prayer shot, and his form before the break was pretty
appalling. In fact you would pretty much have to write off last year. If
this is a fresh start and he reverts to the form at the tail end of 2018,
where he had a couple of top 10s in the Portugal Masters and the British
masters he could have a chance in what is a pretty weak field. However,
he’s not for the feint hearted.I’ve got my bets on for the Workday Charity Open and I’ll post them up
later today.July 8, 2020 at 14:15 #1493211WELL DONE MOM
And Darren with the places too!! And I crawled in the places after a good start and looking like dropping out of the frame I am happy with the place at the place
This week looks tricky especially in Austria so once again not confident but hopeful.WORKDAY CHARITY
P CANTLAY 14/1
V HOVLAND 25/1
M LEISHMANN 40/1
BYEONG HUN AN 70/1
T MERRITT 150/1AUSTRIAN OPEN
R PARATORE 25/1
N HOJGAARD 70/1
M WARREN 150/1
J QUESNE 250/1Good Luck Guys
Looks like we are all on different ones this week so gives us more chances LOL.
I am still recovering from getting the placepot up at Epsom The tote let you have small stakes and big perms so had to have a go and had 216 lines at 3 pence and got it up to 6 lines so 18pence and that was worth it when it paid over five grand
Anyway I digress like I say good luck on the golf this week guysJuly 8, 2020 at 19:57 #1493233Workday Charity Open
Before I start I gotta say well done to you Raymo with a nice chunk of that huge placepot
at Epsom, top manBrooks Koepka 14/1 (30/1 1str round leader market)
He’s a man for the big occasion, winner of the PGA last year and 2nd in the US Open.
Strangely for him he went off the boil a little at the end of last year, withdrew
from 1 and M/C at 2 others. He came back with 4 decent rounds in the 60’s in the Charles
Schwab Challenge and bettered that next time at the Heritage finishing with a great 65
for 7th place. He’s had to miss the last couple as his caddy caught the Covid virus, but
he’s back here and and clearly has his eye in. He’s got a great chance of winning here.Viktor Hovland 25/1 (40/1 1st round leader market)
I had Viktor last week and after getting into a good position for the last round, he
just couldn’t get it together with a disappointing 71 for T12. He’s going to be one of
the big guns over the next few years, already a winner earlier this year at the Puerto
Rico Open and with finishing T11 and T12 last 2 tournaments, he’s not far off another
win. He’s a big player here and I fancy him in the 1st round leader market as he often
gets off to a flyer, as in his 63 in the Travelers 2 weeks back.Colin Morikawa 33/1 (50/1 1st round leader market)
He took the week off last week, hopefully to correct the mistakes he made when missing
the cut in the Travelers Championship. He’s better than that and showed it in the Charles
Schwab where he lost out in a play-off to Daniel berger. He must be wondering how he lost
that having missed a simple 72nd hole putt for the win, and the same again in the 1st
play-off hole. That will have hurt and could explain the subsequent 64th and M/C in his
next 2. Having taken a week off he should be over it and hungry to show he has the bottle
to finish off this time.Joaquin Niemann 45/1 (55/1 1st round leader market)
He’s another of the young pack that is breaking through this year. Winner of the Greenbrier
last september, and an absolute birdie machine with 21 under parr. He started off with a
decent 5th in the Sentry Tournament of Champions back in January, but like Koepka he lost
his way a bit missing 3 cuts in a row before the enforced break for the virus. Tied 5th in
the Heritage last month was more like it and he’s also had a break since a disappointing
final round in the Travelers. He’s another who can hit a low round and worth considering
in the 1st round betting market.Harold Varner 80/1 (80/1 1st round leader market)
He’s getting to be a bit of a cliff golfer for me, I keep expecting him to finally get
that 1st PGA Tour win, but it stil alludes him. He does have a win under his belt, but
it’s down under in the Ozzie PGA in 2016. He hits it a long way for vertically challenged
guy, and I think this course will suit him. He’s been consistant recently without quite
threatening, but he’s a big price at 80/1 so worth taking a chance at those oddss. That’s my lot for this week. Some excellent tipping from the team last week, just not
from me, with MOM being the top dog with DeChambeau. Hopefully I can get into the mix
this week -
