Some great shouts there Darren thanks for the writeup! Can’t argue with you on any of them lol I’d be tempted to add good old Jim Furyk too at 150/1, he posted rounds of 67 69 67 74 last week so was playing very solid until the final round. Like you mentioned Darren with him beating Kisner in that playoff in 2015 and having also won the tournament in 2010 I believe Charles Schwab would have been a warm-up for him to get him on his a-game for the Heritage.

Been up to my eyes in Royal Ascot Darren, but I did get these on a couple
of days ago. I was going to cut down to 3 owing to a dire week last week,
but I’ve had two of the best days punting on Roayal Ascot, so I’ll up it to 4.RBC Heritage
Bryson DeChambeau 16/1 (28/1 1st round leader market)
One of the best in the world on song, hits it a mile and as Darren has already
mentioned, he’s had a T3 here before, so the course is ideal. He got his eye in
on the comeback last week, with a T3 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, and probably
thinks he should have won that one. He should be favourite for this.Sungjae Im 30/1 (40/1 1st round leader market)
I know this guy is going to rack up any number of tournaments, he’s been good to me
with his win in the Honda Classic and a pile of places over that past year and he was
only 1 shot out of the money last week. I’ll stick my neck out and say he will at least
be in the place money this week.Kevin Kisner 45/1 (60/1 1st round leader market)
He’s not a player I’ve gone in for a lot, but at Colonial he has a good record
and unfinished business after losing out in a play-off here in 2015. Two top 15s
since and played steady last week with 4 rounds in the 60s. He will fancy his
chances around here.Joaqun Niemann 100/1 (80/1 1st round leader market)
A youngster who has the potential to be among the big guys, and has already got his
1st win under his belt at Greenbrier last back end. He looked like he needed the round
last week, as he had two sloppy rounds of 72, but also 2 cracking rounds of 65. If that
has blown the cobwebs away then there is no way he should be 100/1 8 places with Paddy
Power. I think it’s a great bet.Good luck this week Darren, we need to get back on the winners trail, hopefully this

It looks like we’ve got all our eggs in the one basket Darren, but I wouldn’t
be swapping DeChambeau for anyone else in the field. Simpson can be hot on his
day, but I think the power that deChambeau has will be enough to see this out.

I’m sweating this one out guys, Niemann im 4th place but only 1 off the lead with
4 holes to play. At 100/1 8 places I hope he doesn’t slip up and at least he stays
in the places money, but it’s not over yet. I thought I’d used up all my good luck
at Royal Ascot, and maybe I have and he’ll find the water or a gator eats his ball,
but it would make my year so far if he were to pull this off.I think your man Palmer is only 3 back as well Raymo with a few to go, so he’s not
out of it either. It’s hang on to your hat time, and book your ticket for behind
that sofa, it’s always busy

It’s a 4 way tie at the top, and no cash out being offered
by William Hill, so I guess I’m going the whole road. Now behind the sofa breathing
into a brown paper bag and listening to whale music…..none of it is working Oh well, it was looking good for a while when he birdied the 16th to take the
outright lead, but then made an ar*e of the 17th and dropped a shot. As it happens,
it didn’t matter a hoot at Simpson had 3 birdies in a row from the 15th. Not to
worry, I’m as pleased as punch with my e/w T5th with no shared deduction.Our man Dechambeau gave it a good shot Darren, but that bogey at 14 did his chance.
Technically he was a place too, but with 8 places and 6 sharing that spot, probably
hardly worth picking it up
Bad luck Raymo with Palmer, I thought if he birdied or eagled the par 5 15th he had
half a chance, but a bogey finished his round.It’s the Travelers Championship next week, which brings back happy memories of last

When you think this pint sized powerhouse not normally play at Harbour town or Colinal done well at both tracks back at a venue when been 3rd before can win here add another title.

Has done ok here before was 14th on debut and every chance of winning Charles schaawb challenge but in water on 15th final day i look for him to bounce back at a place suit him very much.

Not a threat here last year but did close with a round in 66 on final day here to suggest a he getting hang of it and much improved player to
JOAQUIM NEIMANN 55/1
Was 8th here last year and golf return has started to find his form was up during final day at Harbour town looks like this kid improving all the time not scared of those big names to.
CAMERON CHAMP 150/1
Big hitters thrive here and this Champ can has well he MC here last year but was in bad form won again since was also 14th at Schaawb challenge a chance going under the radar here.

Travelers Championship
Bryson DeChambeau 12/1 (25/1 1st round leader market)
I had a go with him last week at the Heritage and he left himself just too much to do
going into the last round after a so so 70min the 3rd. He finished well with a 66 for
T8, and he’s not far off that win. His last 7 starts have gone 1st, T52, T5, 2nd, 4th,
T3 and T8. That’s consistant top class golf. He finished T8 here last year. What’s
not to like Xander Schauffele 30/1 (40 1st round leader market)
Darren’s already put the case up for him, That’ll do for me.
Sungjae Im 35/1 (50/1 1st round leader market)

Joaquin Niemann 40/1 (55/1 1st round leader market)
I thought for a minute that he might just pull it off last week when he hit the
front on the back nine at the Heritage, but a late bogey at the same time as
Simpson hit 3 birdies blew his chance away. I’m not complaining as he was a
100/1 place for me in T5. He was a stupid price, as I said last week, and the
bookies have latched on to how good this guy is and more than halved him. I
think he has the game for here having finished T5 last year. I fancy him for
the 2nd week running.That would me be done normally, but with the 100/1 place and the best Ascot
I’ve ever had, I’m going to throw in a couple at big prices that are no forlorn
hopes.Harold Varner 150/1 (100/1 1st round leader market)
I’ve had a couple of goes with Harold over the past couple of years, and although he’s
looked like he might just pull it off, he never has. His game is good though, and he’s
going to pull it off one of these days. Chez Reavie didn’t win his 1st tournament here,
but it broke his duck for 11 years. Hopefully Harold can do well here, I’d be happy with
a place (8 places) but I’m sure he’s going to land one of these some year.Sebastian Munoz 200/1 (100/1 1st round leader market)
I said that Niemann was no 100/1 shot last week, but WTF are the bookies thinking
making this guy 200/1 (or 150/1 9 places with Sky). I had Sungjae Im in the Sanderson
Farms last year, it came down to Im and Munoz, but Munoz looked certain to lose and Im
went 1/11. I stuck on enough to cover Im win, so still came out in front when Munoz
pulled it off. He was 3rd in the RSM Classic, but went off the boil a bit after that.
He missed the cut in his comeback at the Charles Schwab, but looked much better last
week in the Heritage kicking off with a 65 and was steady with 69,69 and 68 for T28.
If anywhere near back to his Sanderson farms form, or his 3 rounds of 66 in the Greenbrier,
then he would have a very decent chance here.That’s me for this week Darren, hopefully see Raymo in here before the off or if not
he’ll pop up with a late one on Sunday for sure. Good luck guys No Raymo again that 3weeks not been here before it started i think he needs to be in detention

Unfortunately the Mrs is on her way over so won’t be able to watch it today, shall be back on here tomorrow though to talk through how all my guys are +10 and how I wish I’d backed Schauffle!

A finish here in midfield on debut here last year was ok by him but he improved so much since then that expect him to contend here it true since Golf come back not sparkle but he thrives on busy schedule and this not not a strong field when you think Simpson and De Chambeau not play here before.
VICKTOR HOVLAND 22/1
This young starlet from Norway has improved in each 3 events since lockdown over and feel do so again.He finish here last year with a 64 and every chance improve on that.

This guy ball strking been outstanding since come back when you think was 350/1 last week now price is 45/1 tells you everything but also was 2nd here last year to.
MATTHEW WOLF 125/1
The wolfman excels on new tracks as like when won 3m open this powerful hitter can contend here and could easily outrun his odds.

Was 46th last year play in final round 3ball with Rory last sunday beat him that give him belif to make a bold run here.

Rocket Mortgage classic
Patrick Reed 16/1 (28/1 1st round leader market)
At the tail end of last year and the start of this, he was in sizzling form winning
the WGC Mexico C’ship in February and a handful of top 10s. He came back after the
break with another top 10 in the Charles Schwab and followed that with an uncharacteristic
MC at the Heritage. Started slowly last week in the Travelers but folowed that with
3 good rounds, including a superb last round 64. He was 5th here last year, I think
he can get inside of that this year.Viktor Hovland 20/1 (30/1 1st round leader market)
I’m a fan of this young man and was wishing I’d stuck him up last week at the Travelers
when he posted a 1st round 63. He didn’t quite keep that up, but still put in a good
performance finishing T11. He knows his way round here having gone round T11 last year.
He’s a better player this year and got his name on the scoreboard when winning the Puerto
Rico Open in February. He’s got a realistic shout here.Harold Varner III 66/1 (66/1 1st round leader market)
As I said last week, he still is chasing that Holy Grail of his 1st PGA Tour win, and
2 rounds off 66 and 2 of 69 last week in the Travelers still wasn’t good enough (T32).
He’s playing well and with a bit of luck he could go close here. Raymo has put him up
too, so we’re on a cert Sabastian Munoz (100/1 (90/1 1st round leader market)
Two level par rounds were no where near good enough to get into the cut last week at
the Travelers, a bogey folowed by a triple bogey at the 15th where he found the water,
on the back 9 made sure of that. I hope he’s been working on his driver seeing as he’s
had an extra couple of days to put that right. He’s better than that and if he’s tightened
things up a bit he has a chance of of adding to his win at the Sanderson Farms last September.
He’s no 100/1 shot.Charles Schwartzel 150/1 (100/1 1str round leader market)
I thought I was finished with the above 4 picks, but then I clocked that they had Schwartzel
on offer at 150/1. That’s almost an insult for a winner of the Green jacket. Admittedly
he’s not been in that kind of form, but a T5 at Pebble Beach just before the enforced
break shows that he still has the game to win. If he’s in the mood, he most certainly
could cause an upset.That’s me Darren, it’s not like me to leave out DeChambeau when he’s playing great golf,
but I can’t bring myself to take 6/1 without a ball being struck. I’ll keep an eye to
see if he drifts out a bit, and the same goes for my old pal Sungjae Im. glad to see
you’ve found your way back into the fold Raymo, best of luck this week mate Golf is one of the few sports where I don’t mind getting stuck into a favourite in a big field if there’s enough reasoning and I think Dechambeau is a bet in the Rocket Mortgage Classic. He’s 13/2 with Skybet but more importantly 8 places. I just can’t see him in his current form being bettered by 8 players in this field. He’s just a very decent each way play in my opinion with that in mind. When you consider that of his last 8 tournaments, he’s finished in the top 8 on 7 of those occasions, at 13/2 in a weaker field, he then becomes a seriously decent each way bet to nothing.
Have also had a small bit on him winning the first round at 19/1 (e/w) as he’s a good starter and an even smaller play at 66/1 on him being a wire to wire winner.
Asides from those DeChambeau bets, I’ve also had two nibbles in the ‘without the favourites’ market on Paddy Power. Whilst it is win only, it takes the top 7 in the betting out of it and I thought there was two players of small value worth a little play which were Jason Day at 28/1 and Brandt Snedeker at 30/1.
