Hi Darren, here’s hoping we can bag a few winners in the New Year.

I don’t normally do much in the way of ante post golf bets,
but you’ve whetted my appetite for this years Majors, so here
    goes.

In THE MASTERS I’m going for ADAM SCOTT at 33/1 (various)
In THE US OPEN I’m Going for Jason Day at 12/1 (Betvictor)
In THE OPEN I’m going for Sergio Garcia at 40/1 (Stan James)
In THE US PGA I’m going for BUBBA WATSON at 33/1 (Betvictor)

I’ll do doubles trebles and an accum with Betvictor, so I’ll
drop a few points on SCOTT and GARCIA for those, but I’ll be
happy if one of them comes in.

All the very best for the New Year Darren :good:

Tennis bets to start the season

MILOS RAONIC 7/1 To win ATP Brisbane open

He play well last week though he lost to Nadal in final that put him right here he be spot on fitness which is something Raonic has talked about saying he work harder on fitness.Tomic and Nishikori in draw but i think he beat them setting up a final with Federer.

ANA IVANOVIC 5/1 To win ASB Classic

Ana has strong form in early part of year won here in 2014 got to final of Brisbane got beat by Sharapova. She is seeded to meet Wozniacki in last 4 and i think she win this week.

GABRINE MUGURUZA 4/1 To win WTA Brisbane

She in kinder draw where in top half there is Sharapova,Halep,Azarenka and Bencic.Who of that quartet come through that should mean that Muguruza be more fresher and start off her of 2016 with a bang.

Nath any tennis bets this week any ante post tennis bets to

First golf bets of 2016 with Tournament of Champions

    JASON DAY 6/1

Day had a great 2015 winning titles playing great golf best win was USPGA 1st major he won.And a return to this course where he was 3rd last year.A great 62 was not enough to get into playoff but likes it here and i expect him to go close here

    BROOKS KOEPKA 28/1

Many players making debut here this week give a chance to Grillo,Thomas and Kisner. But for me Brooks the best bet this week of those 3.He got new nike clubs and he get more power on drives and if the putter works he can do very well.

    JIMMY WALKER 40/1

On Walker last year was gutted he not won it had a 4 shot lead with not many holes got beat by Reed in playoff. But this time of year to back Walker

Hopefully these will kick start my 2016 golf bets with a bit of success.

In the TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS I’m hoping that BUBBA WATSON is on one
of his “going” weeks. When he’s on the top of his game he can produce
really low rounds, and I think that is what it’s going to take to win
this tournament. I’ve taken the 11/1 with Skybet, which I think is quite
    generous.

I’m also going for a long shot in PETER MALNATI at 150/1 e/w 1st 5 with
Skybet (who are the only bookie offering 5 places).
He’s been playing in the Web.com Tour and owing to some decent results,
including winning the Brazil Classic, he has qualified for some starts in
the PGA tour events. He showed he was not outclassed when he won the
Sanderson Farm Championship in November with four terrific rounds (69 66 68 67).
He followed that with a very creditable T10 in the OHL Classic at Mayakoba the
following week. He could be termed as a “late bloomer” at 28, but I like the look
of his game. I think tee to green on this course is not going to cause any of the
players big problems, so I think his excellent putting is going to be crucial.

Darren, I see you have gone for Jason Day, and I fear him more than anyone
else in the field, he is electric when he’s on form. I’m going to watch and see
how he starts and if he doesn’t get off to the best of starts and his odds
lengthen from 6/1, I will bet him “in play”.

Good luck with your 3 choices mate :good:

I should have mentioned that I also, as I often do, bet both for
    1st round leader.

Watson at 14/1 with Betvictor, the tournament has started but Bubba
    hasn’t teed off yet.

    Malnati at 100/1 with Betvictor 1/4 odds 1st 4.
He has teed off and as I type this he is 1 under after 9 holes.

I hope one of them has a good round.

First winner of 2016 Raonic at 7/1 beat Federer in final very happy bets this week

DAVID FERRER To win ASB Classic

He loves it here won a multiple winner here had a shock loss last week but he can bounce back here in a place he loves playing at.

BERNARD TOMIC 4/1 To win Apia International

Apart from Sam Groth i don’t see a player who could beat him in half of the draw. And while Tomic can chuck a shocker in he has improved so much.Loss to Raonic no bad thing because Raonic went on to win title.Tomic man to beat

MADDISON BRENGLE 28/1 To win WTA Hobart

A lot of players be looking to Australian open and this young woman from the states in hard draw. But see her doing well this season.Match with Flipkens not worry her think she go far.

BELINDA BENCIC 8/1 To win WTA Apia international

Think Bencic can improve a lot this year into a slam winner her draw this week is decent to.Kerber be tough but be tired after getting to final last week. But Bencic can win here.

    Any bets nath

Gone in on Ferrer for Tennis and Neil Robertson Masters Snooker
Agree with everything you say on Ferrer plus the man is like iron man and will run and run.
Robertson will face Trump in the next round if they both get through, I get the feeling Robertson is on top of his game at the moment but need Trump to step up a little bit more as I have him for the World Championship. I cant have Ronnie and think the two left handers are the ones to be with as Selby will come unstuck if he keeps giving away too many head starts. Bingham tonight I think will beat Ding who has been off form but having said that will prefer the table set up to what he has been moaning about.

The Sony Open in Hawaii is one that I enjoy, it’s good golf
    and a beautiful setting.

Jimmy Walker will be all the rage, he loves it there and has
won the tournament the last 2 years running. He didn’t just
win last year, he left the field in his wake to win by nine
strokes. It’s hard to see him out of the places, so 14/1 is
    not a bad bet.

Last week in the Tournament Of Champions I backed Bubba, who
blew his chances in the 3rd round with a 73 to finish 10th.
But right up to the end of the final day I thought my other
choice, PETER MALNATI, might get into the places. I had bet
him at 150/1 (1st 5 places), with Skybet, but as Sod’s Law
would have it, he finished 6th :-(

He is back out in the Sony this week, but no crazy 150/1 odds.
He is still 80/1 with a few firms, but I’m taking him again at
70/1 with Skybet as they are offering 1/4 odds 1st 6 places.

I think Malnati has a great game, and now that he’s getting the
chance to show what he can do on the big tour, I think he will
become a serious player. I think the 70/1 (or 80/1 5 places) is
    a great bet.

What are you betting this week in the golf Darren?

Nath, I see you are a regular with football/tennis/snooker/darts
bets, do you have a go at the golf too?

    Good luck guys :good:

I’ve also taken MALNATI at 80/1 1st 5 places for
1st round leader with Betfred…..just in case.

Also a few quid on Walker for 1st round leader at 22/1.

Never had a bet on the golf in my life BigG.
I’m struggling to keep up with the tennis to be fair so no more room to follow golf although I enjoy nothing more than taking my lad to the putting green and playing 18 holes of crazy golf followed by a large ice cream.

That’s fair enough Nathan, I hope you don’t take the boy’s
pocket money off him when you thrash him at the crazy golf,
I think they call it tough love B-)
