That’s all well and good CS but if you start a thread with the words
"I am brilliant ante-post backer"
then you have to accept some flak if your only winner to date is a 5/2 shot picked 2 weeks before the race.
Oh Dear I hadn’t seen that introduction.
Fair enough DB & BBPerhaps all Ante Post specialists suffer from a slight lack of humility.
July 22, 2010 at 16:38 #307944CS that last line is right maybe we all do
I do know a lot about racing do but not every ante post bet i made will win.Yes i am good at this but it take time we always can’t be right
Though i got no problen with BB and DB as well
July 27, 2010 at 12:34 #309063Martyr to win Totesport Ebor 20/1 Hills
A very improving horse he did not get a clear when winning at Newmarket. but still beat Sprit is Needed. racing today at Goodwood a good run there and his price will come down for the ebor
August 27, 2010 at 17:49 #314873Joshua Tree to win st Leger 10/1 coral
A very good run he had last time out he travelled as well as the winner but got tired because this was his 1st race of the season. He will come on for that run and i feel he run a big race at Doncaster though Rewilding is going to be hard to beat.
August 27, 2010 at 17:58 #314874I got 2 horses for the arc a winner and e/w tip though i back the e/w horse as a winner even though he is a big price
Behkabad to win Prix de arc de triomphe.7/1 Ladbrokes
A very improving horse last time was a cosy winner by beating Plantier he is improving all the time and being a 3yo they have a good record in this race he is my winner.
Calvalaryman to win arc.33/1 Coral
This is the E/W tip for you guys but i backed him as a winner.Has shown no form this season untill he was 4th in the Juddamonte that race was 2f shorter in what he needs a proper 1m4 horse i see him running a big race and he won’t be 33/1 on the day
September 10, 2010 at 16:49 #316946Helleborine to win 1000 guineas best price 12/1 Skybet
This is a unbeaten 2yo from France trained by Head Mareak same trainer of Special Duty. This filly is top class i will say she is best 2yo filly there is at the moment. a shame she won’t be Cheveley park but she run at Arc weekend. And next year she be a superstar no doubt.I got 16/1 a month ago
September 16, 2010 at 22:02 #317883Nationlism to win Cambridgeshire.8/1 best current price
LadbrokesI got 10/1 yesterday with Coral for horse and it be half the price on the day of the race.He won very cosy in the end last week looks like he have more left in the tank he is with the right trainer who won this race with Pipedreamer and Tazeez. And i see this fellow going the same way next year in group races a top class horse.
September 29, 2010 at 11:26 #320012Big week here with Nationalism and Behkabad racing this week my next tip is in the Abbaye
MARCHAND’D’OR 20/1 Hills
In 2008 was the best sprinter in the world won July Cup and this race both were top class performances. This year started well winning at Lonchamp. But then has not won since a return to this track is best for him and i see him winning this sunday.
October 4, 2010 at 12:08 #320864With Cheltenham only 6months away can’t wait i be giving my early ante post tips
ARVIKA LIGEONNIERE.To win Arkle 25/1 Hills
While Mullins has not stated what he do with horse yet my guess he go for the Arkle with this horse. Was 4th in Albert Bartlett at the festival. But back at 2m last time out he won by 9l i think this will be his best trip for him.And he be a beast of a horse later this year and next year to.

At last Darren you have a hell of a Novice Chaser in the making there! Good luck and if you do have the Ante-Post gene in you time will tell and winners will come! Ante-Post Kings are one in a million mind! I respect the fact you are setting yourself up as all who profess to being Tipsters do so keep at it!
October 6, 2010 at 22:20 #321254TAPK

October 7, 2010 at 18:04 #321337With doubts on FRANKEL making the derby i hope he does as got 33/1 for him to win it.I will give 2 more ante post bets in this race
MASKED MARVEL 33/1 Hills
Was a cosy winner on debut he was getting on top at the end of the race. And was going away nice. His next race is a group 3 this saturday i think he should win this. And may go for the Racing Post trophy after.
FRENCH NAVY 25/1
This Andre Fabre horse looks a top class horse is unbeaten and has now gone to Godolphin. i see him as number 1 horse for boys in blue next year when the derby comes around. His next race i think is the same race that Jan Vermeer won in France last year. This could be a top class horse
TAPK.Any thoughts on these horses and do you have a derby horse as well yet

The form of Masked Marvel’s Sandown victory isn’t great – the runner-up was well beaten by Unex El Greco at Leicester, with the winner edged out at Newbury on Thursday – and he certainly didn’t strike me as a Derby horse. I’d have thought it’s unlikely that he’ll go for the Racing Post Trophy either, even if he wins comfortably tomorrow.
For what it’s worth I’m happy to chance Baptist in the Autumn Stakes. He beat a subsequent winner on debut – Chain Lightning went on to beat Highclere’s own Census at Salisbury, a horse Richard Hannon does like – and has supposedly been working well.
If French Navy has been transferred to Saeed Bin Suroor – I believe he raced under the Godolphin banner in France – then that would be enough to put me off. And although I’m not an expert on French form, I don’t think he’s achieved all that much, would want give in the ground and might not even stay (I wouldn’t take him beyond ten furlongs next year).
Frankel isn’t likely to go for the Derby – I don’t think he has a hope of staying in anything approaching a top class race – and I seem to remember Tom Queally saying that Picture Editor had shown just as much promise at home. He absolutely destroyed a reasonable animal at Leicester and is sure to get the trip; he’ll be aimed at the race and is still a decent bet at 25/1.

Darren,
Masked Marvel
wants further than a mile already.he reminds me of the owners good stayer
Assessor
who also ran over a mile at Sandown as a 2yo and was then 3rd in the Racing Post Trophy. I think he could be a bit of a stayer myself in time,he was certainly well fancied to win his debut and physically he looks the part,i can see him certainly taking the derby route next year but ultimately being a Leger type for his trainer who as we know targets the race! Good Luck!
French Navy
has to go the French Derby route, not only with a name like that but his breeding suggests 11/4m will be his trip!
I haven"t had a bet in the Derby yet but i saw a useful recruit at Nottingham the other day calledSpecific Gravity
,he did love the soft ground though!
October 29, 2010 at 21:03 #325337CAPTAIN CEE BEE.To win Champion Chase 16/1 Paddy Power
November 9, 2010 at 22:38 #327219Mad Max 12/1 Coral best price.To win Paddy Power
Long Run may win easy but his stablemate will give him most to do.He was going really well in arkle untill a blunder and in the end faded but without that mistake could of been 2nd.
Bounce back at Aintree with some great jumping beat Somersby
and The Nightagale who won sinceNovember 9, 2010 at 22:42 #327221Pandorama.To win Hennessey gold cup.10/1 best price Ladbrokes
Only defeat was to Mikael’d Haugent a few years ago but has done well chasing. He beat Weapons’Amnesty before that horse won RSA Chase. And in this race if Denman runs he be on a nice weight as well. And i see him as the winner for this race
