Usually like to try and dig one out for this, and bet Galvin for it back in March. Looks unlikely this will be the plan, and cashed out the 10’s. I also bet him 12’s though, and stick with that, as can’t cash out.

I have two I’m really keen on right now, Coko Beach, and Escaria Ten.

I really like the pair of them, and they’re the type I’d like to see go here, but there’s obviously no indication at this stage that they will. Quite disappointed by the prices quoted anyway, both around 14’s. No bet then for now, but they’re the pair I like.

I’ll bet Tiger Roll again on the day, should he go, though if all was well with him, and there’s nothing to suggest otherwise, then the current 6’s is fair.

Shady Operator was a game winner of The Risk Of Thunder on Sunday, but I liked him for this last year, and they didn’t go. The runner up, Midnight Maestro interests me more, and I think he’d have more scope for improvement, and he’s definitely on my radar too.

Decided to have an early bet here on Mortal.

Got a decent heads up from Jackh1092 that The Kim Muir is the plan, but I’ve taken 20’s for this anyway, as that run in December was very encouraging, and hoping that they reconsider. Happy to bet him early, even with the obvious doubt he’ll go here. Less happy at not taking the 33’s when it was widely available.

Interesting that Easysland has left Cottin, and I’ll maybe have to have an early sentimental bet on old Tiger as well.

He’s been tipped up by Matt Tombs for this- i think that’s the cause for the price collapse.

As of 2 days before xmas he was going to hopefully go KM if all goes well.

Same owners run the Ravenhill syndicate and they ended up moving from KM>4miler but that was more down to Elliot’s main contenders falling by the wayside for the 4miler.

Yeah, still planning to cover him for Kim Muir Jack, on your advice, but decided I’d like to cover him here.

Was very happy to take 33’s. Said a few swear words when I seen it had gone.

Anyone got an ideas why balko des flos doesn’t seem to be quoted by many firms for this?

I know he hasn’t troubled the judge in either of the xcrountry races this season but I was looking to back him at level weights come March.

    Thanks in advance x

Thanks Mike. I don’t remember reading anything about him picking up an injury anywhere after his run last time so thought this would be a good place to ask.

Easysland at 8-1, and I’m hoping that first of all he’s in good shape, and secondly that Jonjo can get his mojo back

Reluctantly cashed out Mortal here, as he wasn’t NRNB, and I can always cover him if he runs here. Mind you, still raging at missing that 33’s.

I’ve decided just to go with Tiger Roll. I’d be betting him anyway, even if I didn’t put it up here, so quite happy to stay loyal to my old pal.

Should there be any setback with him, then a very interesting backup could be Tout Est Permis. Bet him a few times in the past, and interesting that he’s entered up on Sunday in a Cross Country at Punchestown. He’d certainly have the profile I’m looking at for this.

Eamonn I followed you in with him at 40/1 non runner no bet. I know that he was very average today, but he may just improve for it. I am happy though to have a cushion of nrnb

After that today, as impressive as the winner was, I’m drawn to Tout Est Permis also

Delta Work 11-2. I’m wondering if they are running him because they think Tiger Roll is/may be past it. Time will tell.
