I’m willing to take a chance on Native River for this. Tizzards well out of form but if any horse can shrug off a bug, it’ll be Native River. Santini looking a big doubt now and i just think Native River is a better horse than Bristol De Mai at the track. 3/1 fair enough value.

If there was a jockey booked for Yala Enki, I would take that 10-1 just now. I’m not put off by the busy schedule one little bit, and I would fancy a massive run at those odds.

Should he be absent, then I’d be another Native River supporter along with VTC and TYT and I would be happy with his current price.

I’m extremely surprised that this is being run at 12.40 before the ITV coverage starts.

I have RTV so I’m ok but if we are trying to sell this sport then we need the big race of the day on terrestrial tv.

    Six entries by the way.

I’m going to stick with Yala Enki here. I’m confident he can follow up here at 7-1

Santini is one of my pair for The Gold Cup, so I’ll be looking for a big run. I actually think he’ll win this, but he’s not a big enough price for me to actually bet him here.

Any race involving Santini not at Cheltenham is one to take him on at
Henderson has already said this is what he needs as another stepping stone for the Gold Cup
He’s a one race horse same as last year. Still capable of winning this mind you if the others don’t run to form for one reason or another.

One race ?… He didn’t win and he,s unlikely to win this year , if he,s so good why isn’t he winning races ? , also why isn’t Nico riding him yet he,s riding champ next week

HDLG, Aiden Coleman has ridden Champ before so knows him. He hasn’t ridden Santini yet so don’t know him. Come the Gold Cup Nico can only ride one. Aiden by that time will have ridden both so will be in the running to ride the other one.

In respect of your other question “if he,s so good why isn’t he winning races” I think ive covered that already in other posts regarding his racing career so pointless going through that again.

The on the bridle comment was slightly tongue in cheek as ideally dont want him to have a hard race.

He won the Cotswold last year at…. Cheltenham
Al Boum Photo runs one race a year and was a whisker ahead of Santini so if Santini is so bad how was he so close to your Gold Cup pick for this year surely that would devalue ABP..
If Henderson and Nico believe Champ is better than Santini and that ABP is not that clear of Santini then the like of the RSA horses come into play also this year making ABP less value if that is the case
Personally I reckon Nico will end up on Santini

Nico will ride santini and Coleman champ …pointless exercise …ok why aren’t the Bristol/native river teams talking about easy races , there is always a ready excuse coming from the Henderson team reg this horse , it’s a big day for santini , it’s time he started delivering not promising ….

Native River for me. He will relish the heavy ground, although most of the others will too, but I think he is the best jumper and his run at Aintree was decent enough. The form of the Tizzard horses has to change some time.

    Native River 5/1

He won the race last year was that not delivering
I don’t see any excuse, Gold Cup is the target, simple as that
Can only be one winner, does every loser need an excuse?
Why does Al Boum Photo only run one prep a year with the view of an easy race?
    Why isn’t he running tomorrow?
    Because they target Cheltenham

Nathan AL boum wins santini doesn’t …that simple , look at the betting for all the championship races …the horses at the top of the market are winners ….what about course form at sandown …that was a horrible run
