Market…………

Newbury in November seems a long way off, but Unibet have a market for this.
Midnight River my long term fancy for this, and surprisingly available at 33’s, so I’ve taken that.
No surprise to see Remastered aimed at this again, and a good chance he’ll have his season geared round another attempt, so he’ll be bet too. Stablemate Gericault Roque is worth considering too.
Mullins obviously likes a go at this, and I fancy Kilcruit for everything this year, while I think that the disappointing Ramillies will win a big handicap this year, and he’s also interesting at this very early stage.
I’ve also got to edit in McFabulous. Extremely fragile, and no idea of his wellbeing after last PU, but off 153, I’d be very interested in him.
Edit – Added McFabulous, which is risky, but if returns sound…………
McFabulous looks unlikely, as he’s not in Stable Tour, but can’t cash out
McFabulous 33’s
Midnight River 33’sJuly 9, 2023 at 21:17 #1654917For me, its far to early to poke at. But I like to look at 2nd season chasers that ran in the RSA..opps, Brown advisory these days.
Not sure Willie has a good record in this. More of a Nicholls .. Pipe type race. Although Pipe seems to be on a downward spiral these days. The Real Whacker for me, but no bet until the day, 14’s now maybe 8’s or 12’s on the day.
But I will note any Nicholls chasers that run in the 2 months before maybe a selection..I stand to be corrected, but without googling..Strong Flow had a obscure prep..July 9, 2023 at 21:54 #1654920Surely The real whacker will be going to the grade 1s , if they think he,s a genuine GC horse the I expect to see him in the the Charlie Hall or Betfair
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
July 9, 2023 at 22:09 #1654922I would imagine Complete Unknown might be aimed at this.
7yo, only had 13 races in its life, OR 152, shapes as if he will get the trip.
20/1.

October 5, 2023 at 15:21 #1665697I should say it’s common sense for me, to wait until the entries came out, but I think that City Chief has the right profile, and I’m taking 33-1
October 8, 2023 at 06:37 #1666001I’ve had Iron Bridge in mind for this all through last season. He’s not in Unibet’s antepost market though. Hopefully he will be in the entries as I think he is well handicapped, has plenty of improvement to come and has an unbeaten record when fresh. Jonjo won the race with another (Exors of) Trevor Hemmings horse in 2020 and the same owners colours were carried to victory in 2021 with Cloudy Glen for Venetia Williams. He’s another in my mind for the race given his record first time out.
October 8, 2023 at 12:06 #1666025I clicked on this not knowing what race it was. Maybe put the old name alongside it. Coral (the old Hennessy) Gold Cup.
October 8, 2023 at 12:17 #1666027This typically goes to a 6-8 year old carrying 11 stone 6 or less. Hard to gauge at this stage a strong fancy.
October 8, 2023 at 17:59 #1666045Ive been using (wasting) free bets on The Real Wacker.. fingers crossed for a run.

Pleased to see Midnight River in there, but knew I had done my dough with McFabulous after he was missing from Stable Tour. Managed to cash out for Kempton, but that was never an option here.
Remastered will almost certainly be the backup now at 16’s, but also looking at……
Beauport
Cloudy Glen
Coopers Cross
Major Dundee
Moroder
Twig
Zanza……but certainly favour Remastered right now, and with a backup shortlist as long as that, I can afford to wait.
Decent entry in there. Love old Royal Pagaille, while it would be good to see stablemate L’Homme Presse return in good nick. Still think he’s a realistic Gold Cup contender.

October 25, 2023 at 11:47 #1668007It’s a very strong set of entries. I’ll weigh it up once we have a better idea of targets.
To that end I’m convinced there is a big pot left in Royale Pagaille. I think Aintree has his name all over it, but this surely wouldn’t be beyond him if they gave it a serious go.
October 25, 2023 at 12:00 #1668008I know that he’ll be anchored with a big weight, but my first bet is Ahoy Senor at 16-1
November 6, 2023 at 23:07 #1669626Having lost a few pounds on him over the least two years, I’ve bet Dusart again for The Badger Beer Chase. Should he run well there, and god knows if he will, then I think that he’ll be very popular for this. I’ve bet him 33-1 ew
November 7, 2023 at 17:25 #1669705Mahler Mission 12-1 ew
November 10, 2023 at 18:04 #1669943Heard from a fairly reputable source that Ahoy Senor definitely comes here, barring injury. That’s going to compress the weights.
