With Minding out until Autumn, it seemed wise to snag something for the Eclipse.
In the end I decided Ribchester was the potential value for the race after hearing murmurs that he may be stepped up in trip.
Getting ever shorter for the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot it seemed as good a place as any to give the colt a pop at 10F.
Horses like Barney Roy and Cracksman are in the betting but I think Ribchester would take the beating if he settles well enough. He looks a good colt this year and would not have much to fear I feel.
14/1 is a big price and after I put him up yesterday on DLAP, I now see he is in to 12/1 as bookies slowly get the message that Minding will not be running.
