these days i find the racing post a bit too expensive to buy every day so i just buy one on the big days etc but have been finding it harder to get a copy, even derby day they seemed sparse.
anyone else have this problem or do i just live in the wrong area?June 5, 2013 at 09:12 #441863You need to be disciplined, get up early and go the newsagents as soon as they open. If they normally stock them, that should do the trick.
Would have thought the big days would be less of a problem, 4 or 5 copies on Derby Day compared to 1 this week.I used to leave it occasionally to later in the morning and sometimes struggled but never failed to get one.
Supermarkets and petrol stations usually have one.June 5, 2013 at 10:06 #441869Get into the bookies at opening time and put their copy of the post under your arm and walk out don’t forget to put half dozen pens in your pocket too. Target the shops with only one member of staff as they will not be allowed to leave the shop to run after you.

Or order from them direct.
