No he wasn’t. Wasn’t better than Kauto at anything.
Kauto won 14 races at 3m+. 13 of those were Grade 1s including 2 Gold Cups and 5 King Georges.
Denman was a class horse but Kauto stands alone in the modern era as King.
He pulled up on his last.. Your point , I’ve never doubted Kauto was a great horse I just prefer Denman and have given my reasoning , bar the GC the 2 horses had different paths

Personally, I think arguments about which horse is the greatest are pointless. We will never know for certain and all anyone can do is offer an opinion. Preferably in a respectful manner..
In all honesty I don’t really care which horse is meant to have achieved the most. Enjoy them all on their own terms. Instead of pointless arguments about X horse would have beaten Y horse which ran 25 years earlier.
I didn’t ask who beat would beat who ( others have ) I asked who achieved most , I think on that list we all know who , the point I’ve been been making for over 2 hours
