If anybody genuinely believes that this average England side is one of the best teams in Europe then please get me some of whatever it is you’re smoking because that’s the good stuff.
How about you list all of the sides in Europe that are better than England?
FRANCE
SPAIN
CROATIA
ITALY
BELGIUM
NETHERLANDS
SWITZERLAND
PORTUGUALThere’s probably more that I haven’t thought of but all of these sides are unquestionably better than England.
Italy shaded the Final, which was fair enough. But they got shaded themselves in the SF, so rode their luck to a certain extent. They aren’t the first and won’t be the last, congratulations to them. I don’t think there were any major refereeing errors effecting the match, and thought the officials had a good game, and generally a good tournament.
Feel especially sorry for Pickford. If you are saving 2/5 penalties, you have a right to feel a bit dissapointed to lose a 5 v 5 shoot-out 3-2. In the end, Rashford hitting the post having faked out the Italian keeper was the difference. Fine lines, hard lines.

By what possible metric are Switzerland or Croatia better than England
Switzerland knocked France out and that wasn’t a lucky result, they were fantastic to come back from the dead against France. Not a chance England could have beaten France.
Croatia were 3-1 down against Spain (many people say Spain were the best team in the competition. No team in the world would have come back from 3-1 down against Spain with 5 minutes to go except Croatia and there unbreakable heart. Englnd certainly wouldn’t. Croatia were also World Cup finalists and they had one hell of a tough run to get to that final unlike England who had it easy.
Croatia are a far superior team to England.Shut up you berk. You already chose 4 teams ahead of the Italians to win the tournament. Cast your lines better you dumb bugger.

That’s incorrect I chose 3 teams and all were fantastic bets at the odds, this point clearly goes straight over your head.
CROATIA 160.0 into 60.0 a shortening of 100.00
CZECH REPUBLIC 140.00 into 30.0 a shortening of 110.00
GERMANY 12.5 into 6.5 a shortening of 6.0
Anybody who backed especially Croatia and Czech when I did were given the opportunity to make some very good money whether these teams won or lost. Superb bets.
Your getting mixed up with Ginger I think who chose WALES at big odds- never shortened after his bet and lost 4-0, 2 single figure odds selections in England and Belgium. And the Denmark selection which could be classed as a decent bet as they shortened a fair amount though nowhere near the amount that the great bets of Czech and Croatia did.

Realistically there are only ITALY – GERMANY- FRANCE – CROATIA who can win the competition and the French and Italians both look suspect.
Nobody on the entire forum tipped the bloody winners.
At least I was astute enough to recognise early in the tournament that Italy were one of only 4 sides who could lift the trophy.
Did I back them in the outright? No absolutely not, too short in the betting, only mugs back teams at single figure odds in competitions like this but at least I was aware they were one of only 4 possible winners.
You are a legend Robbo. Picking the winner out of four teams, the favourires and two of them near favourites. Wow!
