Always a small but select field this….

Battleoverdoyen looks the type to land this, and he was very impressive last time, while the Mullins pair of Kemboy and Cilaos Emery look likely to take a hand as well.
It’s their stablemate Bachasson I like though. He won well here in the spring before lockdown, and looks to have a decent chance at the weights. I thought 5’s was fair.
Bachasson 5’s
November 7, 2020 at 21:09 #1510010It’s great to see ITV covering it as well.
November 8, 2020 at 00:29 #1510042Absolutely Patriots, great to see it getting some added coverage.
November 8, 2020 at 19:55 #1510139Battleoverdoyen looked really impressive last time, and I hope that he can build on that. I’d love to see him up against a Kemboy, who must surely be due a win.
I’ll go with Snow Falcon ew 3 pls. 25/1 looks a massive price over this trip, and he can thrown in a big run from time to time.
November 8, 2020 at 20:20 #1510141Will battleoverdoyen even run so soon after down royal?
November 8, 2020 at 20:32 #1510142I’d be surprised FF91.
Sounds like Bachasson is heading here if you believe his RP stable tour. Possibly along with Cilaos Emery.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 10, 2020 at 11:36 #1510262Cilaos 11/10
Bachasson 9/4
Mortal 17/2
Paloma Blue 9/1
Snow Falcon 14/1
Alpha Des Obeaux 16/1with Hills.
Can’t see anything shortening much from the others.
Bachasson getting 5pds, proven at trip and won at track shades it for me. Has form fresh as well.
Cilaos is classier in my view, but has to prove himself over the trip, something i know earlier in his career i’d definitely have been worried about. He does settle better now at least.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 10, 2020 at 12:05 #1510272I think that this is the race for Cilaos Emery, and although I don’t like to bet as short, I think he’ll have too much class.
Autumnal, I wouldn’t mind that 25-1 ew on Snow Falcon.
November 10, 2020 at 12:43 #1510279I have Alpha des Obeaux ew to 3 places as per the AP comp thread. He’s fit and is getting practice in running up with the pace for the GN but don’t think they’ll run his legs off, hopefully he can hang on for 3rd anyhow. He has a good record in the race.
Didn’t back Cilaos Emery , but then didn’t back Elimay in the previous race either thankfully. Hope she OK and that Mullins just looked that the entries and calculated that he could feasibly win it with CQ.November 10, 2020 at 15:18 #1510287Probably GAG, also CQ hasn’t a listed win to her name while the others do, so i guess it makes sense!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 11, 2020 at 18:29 #1510401I’ll bet Alpha Des Obeaux to spring a surprise here at 20-1, although I agree that this should go the way of Cilaos Emery.
November 12, 2020 at 15:07 #1510455Good pick VTC
Good ride from the jockey
Only way he could beat cilaos was to make it a stamina test not a speed test and he did just that
