If you have the paper version of the Racing Post you can see how much a horse was in to be claimed for as part of the race conditions.
Is there any way of looking back for this information on the internet if you don’t have a paper version to hand?
Just trying to see what an owner was prepared to sell a horse for earlier in it’s career as an indicator of their estimation of their ability.
This info is available in the States but I’m struggling over here.
Many thanks in advance.

I was trying to get this info published here :
https://theracingforum.co.uk/horse-r … 47-13.html
But with no success so far. To date I’ve found no online resource that provides the info you want.
I also raised this with the BHA/Weatherbys, asking why more information on claims wasn’t available (how many claims, who lodged them etc) and was told that it was confidential commercial information.

If you cant find the conditions, then they should be on internet where your trainer enters horses.
Tell me which horse it is u want to know and i’ll find it
December 1, 2010 at 18:44 #330725Thanks AP and Koo – yes I now remember that August thread and should have searched for it earlier.
We’ve got all the paper copies in the office and we’ve been slogging through researching this info for DRF. I wanted to continue doing it from home via the RP website but as you say it impossible to do once the day’s racing is past as there is no record of the exact conditions in the results.
I’ll just keep working away at the paper versions but frustrating that the cards aren’t available on line on either RP or Racing admin retrospectively.
Can’t see why it all shouldn’t be in the public domain as it was beforehand and the actual claimants are available in the results.
