No Gord,
The word that describes me is “Profit”.
The word that describes you is “Deficit”.
Value Is EverythingNovember 25, 2017 at 16:03 #1328623There’ll be no King George for Top Notch according to Simon Munir. With Bristol confirmed for Kempton en route to another crack at the Gold Cup, this boy’ll be flying Ryanair to Cheltenham.

Good point Voleur, owner said as much. Suspect it might be either Lexus or Peterborough for Top Notch; probably latter.

November 25, 2017 at 16:23 #1328629That’s just like you to change quotes, Gordie Boy.
Well done with Bristol De Mai today.
I’m happy with my two winners from three races today too.
But remember… Overall profit is what matters – not just one day.Why not give DLAP another go?
Value Is EverythingNovember 26, 2017 at 13:03 #1328821I had Top Notch at 16/1 for the JLT last season, that was all to win so his defeat at the hands of Yorkhill was the gutter of the festival for me.
I didn’t get involved here but you couldn’t help but be impressed with the manner of the victory and you’d think he’ll be back for the Ascot Chase in the new year. Personally, looking at the likely runners in the Desert Orchid, I’d like to see him rock up there as I certainly think he has the pace for 2 miles. The Ryanair seems the big target for the season I’d think.
Smad Place didn’t look happy the moment he wasn’t allowed to lead as he liked whilst you have to worry that Royal Regatta pulled-up after leading and looking the winner 3 out. Not sure what happened to him, maybe an underlying issue.
