Just had a tracker horse Callender entered tonight at Dundalk this fairly lightly raced colt is Imo Well in tonight started off at the beginning of the season when traveling like a dream from a unpromising draw he came a fantastic 5th in the windsor castle at royal ascot arguably he is against some near top sprinters tonight but thieve all had a lot of races between them this season if he handles the polytrack 14/1 looks a steal with that weight and draw. he is imo group horse in the making.
Can anyone talk me out of it?
October 21, 2016 at 10:19 #1267941Much of the joy of racing is spotting one early and getting stuck in when you think it’s value. If you trust your judgement, you might never get 14s again. Had a look through the form and I’m happy to take your recommendation and have a wee bet. Good luck.
October 21, 2016 at 10:26 #1267944What a cracking little race that is follyhoog good luck with Callender wouldn’t put you off your fancy but he is certainly thrown in at the deep end against the big boys.
The only negatives for him would be that he is just a 2yo running against older more experienced horses such as Goldream and course and distance winner Moviesta, these two professional sprinters have won at Group level and are high up in the weights giving your fella a massive 18lbs (and rightly so)
Goldream has been highly tried this season at Group Level but the spark of last season seems to have deserted him, this of course is a lot easier and he is currently favourite but I would have liked to have seen more from him.
Moviesta has won over course and distance beating The Happy Prince. That day Moviesta carried 5lb more weight than Aiden O’Brien’s charge and tonight carries 3lb less so he could possibly take the honours.Chiclet is my idea of the winner being a Course and Distance specialist he seems to love winning here. He also is running against Group horses but his love of the course makes him a decent each way bet.
Always stick to your fancy and perhaps have a little EW saver on one of the other players…good luck Jac

Chiclet & Moviesta (EW) for me.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...October 21, 2016 at 10:40 #1267949Even if 50 people posted on here trying to talk you out of it, you’ve still got to back him now. Imagine how you’ll feel if you don’t and he wins!
October 21, 2016 at 10:40 #1267950i do really fancy him hopefully he can give me a good run for my money Cheers for your reply’s good luck
October 21, 2016 at 11:46 #1267954I hope yours wins, because you seem to have done a lot of work on it, and it would, quite rightly, please you to have sussed it out well before.
But, because I don’t want to spoil your luck, I might have a little interest in Seychelloise, currently at 14/1.
For
1. She is a Kirsten Rausing 4yo mare, needing black type for Lanwades Stud duty.
2. She had a sighter at Dundalk in August (why else would Sir Mark go to that trouble?)
3. It is autumn. Ask Barry Hills about many mares sudden form improvement in Autumn.
4. It’s Dundalk. Sir Mark sending the mare and Luke Morris all that way. Why?
5. She is an all-weather specialist, particularly Polytrack.
6. She won her last race, a handicap, from a wide draw at odds of 12/1, a proper Sir Mark Handicap winner at proper odds, so not going to Dundalk to improve her handicap mark for a tilt at Hamilton.Against
1. She has had only one run at the distance, two years ago, on the sand.
2. She has about a stone to find on (numbers only) form.A net four reasons for Seychelloise to win. With my record at this, she might well finish fourth.
October 21, 2016 at 11:46 #1267955The horse looks good on first inspection but if you dig a bit you will find he needs 6f, LTO he was a good thing. Most of the other runners were donkeys, the second there, elusive, had won at six and been tried a couple of times over 7f and was a bit of a slow young boat. The close up 3rd was another six furlong winner who had been tailed off last couple of times. Selection has won over 5 at Navan, and the hill would have helped him there a couple of times. he really should be outpaced here very early and when they quicken up 1 1/2 out will be left. I cant see it making a group horse. If he handles the track they could get a 6f race into him for the Christmas money.
Good Luck anyway, its a fine looking selection.
October 21, 2016 at 19:39 #1268007Got that wrong but a think a winter on his back he will come back to his best hopefully get my money back
October 21, 2016 at 20:20 #1268023I would put it out again if I was Halford, before Christmas. It wasnt disgraced, was in a tough race for it.
I enjoyed looking through the race, a race I normally would not have looked at. Thanks for putting the horse up.
Keep putting them up for discussion and Good Luck with your betting.

October 21, 2016 at 20:24 #1268026Space Cowboy might well be right in that he wants 6f. Slightly missed break and immediately took a bump so that wouldn’t have helped. Keep the faith!
