I was just watching an old clip and spotted Royal Relief. He ran in EIGHT Champion Chases at the festival, 1970-77 inclusive. Is this a record, does anyone know of horses that ran a lot of times at the festival?

I think West Tip registered in the list of Cheltenham Legends in the Channel 4 countdown during the Festival, due to his number of runs there.
