Their will be an update every day of the festival and in NONE HANDICAPS 1 – 4 selections per race will be shown depending on number of runners as well as the lbs in the TOP RATED is compared to the rest. In handicaps their will be 3 horses shown per races and if fields of 20 or more their maybe 4.
In past years this as had some very good days as well as bad ones and if you go to PAGE 14 you will find my original SOFTWARE THREAD and open the last page it will give you a view of what is possible. I still use this but mainly Saturdays and all the major meetings.I personally use it for QUADPOTS which can do very well if doing a perm but the returns can be RUBBISH but now and then EXCELENT like yesterday 3 meetings [all possible] 267 59 and 6 pts.

How did you bet on those selections? Covering all e/w wouldn’t show a profit. Neither would odds < 4/1 bet to win and odds > 4/1 e/w. When you are covering all 4 to win, odds less than 4/1 are pointless.
I personal do a quadpot perm usually 36 lines 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 for small stakes.
I just show what the software picks and over the last 3 months the TOP RATED have shown a profit only horses 10/1 and above would I consider an EW BET but it must be said this years SELECTIONS here have not been great although the 1st days did not do bad from that point of view.
Also I don’t always show 4 but have done here as its CHELTENHAM.TODAYS
It must be said they are very big fields today and can only hope the software finds something..

So your selection published are just what the program produces. Does a Quadpot Perm show a profit?
I am trying to get some rules together… E/W on > 10/1, cover 1/6th of the field. Don’t include odds < numberofrunners /6 .Those shown are what the software picks and can have very good and bad days [not a great Cheltenham]. The selections are based on 4 r/post ratings + going latest form and cd c or d winners. At no time does it know the price of any horse in the race and for example if the ratings for the FAV were the best it would be picked but also if those ratings related to an OUTSIDER that would be the selection.
As for quadpots it will always depend on how many races the FAV is placed and if in every 1 if you do a PERM you would lose money on your bet.
I personally do them with a mate of mine but this usually on days when decent racing [ usually Fridays @ Saturdays and MAJOR midweek meetings and do 36 x 10p perms as we are in the bookies and gives us an interest in those race but on many days even if we have the quadpot up it WILL SHOW A LOSS. The week before CHELT we had all 3 meeting up and a near £ 100 return for a 36, 36, and 24 line perms [cost £9.60 outlay] so £50 each.
The best the software as ever picked was a CARTMEL and it paid over £3000 as not 1 person had it for £1.00 and if I had done it would have only been for 10p but st £300.
Warning
It might look simple but not that easy when the fields are small and some with JUST 4 RUNNERS you need the winner, Also some meetings maybe all HANDICAPS which makes it difficult to compile the right perm from the SOFTWARES 3 selections per RACE in handicaps.Sorry Ive not replied sooner but hope this may shed some light on Quadpots.

I was looking for some ideas on betting strategies. Picking winning horses is either an art or a science, but choosing a profitable betting strategy is the key.
I bet a percentage of my pot daily. If it goes above a certain point,I cleave off the top and put it in my bank. If I have a run of loosers, my bets reduce gradually and I can sleep at night!
