It’s always about the breeding value….

I think CoT is a wee weed compared to the big American muscle horses and will get his bottom smacked on dirt and sent home. Not long to find out.

Couple of ews on the gorgeous Arthurs Ride (bad draw but oh well) and Tapit Trice (draw less of an issue with his run style) for a more positive interest.

I thought Thorpedo Anna was in the wrong race and she’s just confirmed that there. She’s an amazing filly and should’ve gone for the big one.

If I was betting on City Of Troy it would be a place lay.

    Had £20 matched Lay @ 1.75 a place.
Now rightly gone out to odds-against third favourite in the place market.
He’ll probably either win or nowhere.

The Americans’ timekeeping is even worse than ours! 😂

Ha, should have gone for the same owner angle. Went under the radar, sort of.

I think he was 1000/1 once he reached the back stretch.

Fair play to them for trying, I’d never watch this race normally but I did today. I probably won’t again lol

Aidan is obv a very talented trainer but all the is bollocks about COT being his best ever …. sorry no , he may yet be a great stallion but I very much doubt he,s Gallileo level

Obviously no issues with Ryan’s ride but I think there’s a fair few jockeys who need a brain replacement this meeting. So many have cut their own throat leading or on the pace and set it up for closers.

I don’t know about best ever, they’ve had so many top horses. Probably marketing spiel from them. His Juddmonte win was what I’ll remember him for not today and that was pretty impressive in fairness.
