There is a growing consensus that Samcro wins whatever he runs in.
A lesser-known novice who caught my eye a couple of weeks ago was Chosen Path, who skated up at Fontwell. He’s one to keep on the right side for the Ballymore, although the fact that he’s trained by perennial underachiever Alan King tempers enthusiasm somewhat.
