Less than a week to go now folks and I have good news, David has kindly donated a copy of the new book by Paul Jones writing with Gary Wiltshire ‘Fifty Years In The Betting Jungle’ as a prize for the winner.
Many thanks David
March 4, 2025 at 20:01 #1721858Rules
You select 1 horse in each race over the course of the meeting
In one race per day you can select 2 horses
You may chose 1 nap per day (please make clear)
NAP selections score double for WIN ONLY
You can pick a next best (NB) as a reserve for your Nap in case of being a non runner
If Nap is a N/R and your NB is a non runner the reserve of your Nap will become the Nap.
(no reserve no nap)Entries have to be in before first race of each day, if for whatever reason you are late
post your entries still for later races which will be accepted but you will get hit with
10% point deduction for that day Strictly no Edits after the off time of 1st race, all
points on that day will be deducted You may included as many reserves as you like but
cannot add any after the time of the first raceSELECTIONS

Great news Raymo looking forward to this. Can’t believe I won it in 2014 that was before all these shrewd tipsters joined the Forum..🤣Nice to have a prize to aim for..sounds an interesting read David many thanks
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 5, 2025 at 18:03 #1721945Top stuff, as always, from Mr & Mrs Raymo (if they ever have a film made, it must be Brad and Angelina in the lead roles).
Looking forward to propping up the table, as usual, with my not-so-likely outsiders.
March 6, 2025 at 02:50 #1721972Many thanks for taking this one on Mr & Mrs Raymo. It’s the
biggest one of all, but you guys have it off to a tee.
That’s a very nice offer from David, I’d love it on my
bookshelf. Best of luck everyone
March 6, 2025 at 10:22 #1721978Five more sleeps folks

Looking forward to this and as usual the columns will be the main concern and I was think of points deductions for ruining the columns with a big score but decided again it

Once again thanks to David for the prize

And Graham what part of Scotland are you in because we are visiting there straight after Cheltenham ?
March 6, 2025 at 10:23 #1721979I sent Tracey up on her own last year but this year I am going to and will be ruining a good walk or too
March 7, 2025 at 02:09 #1722011Ah yes Raymo, Mrs Raymo’s columns are a thing of great beauty
I’m in Dunoon Raymo, a lovely place when it stops raining. I’ve checked
the records Raymo, the last sunny dry day was on Wednesday August 4th
1983. Ah but I remember it well, a glorius day it was too
March 7, 2025 at 19:01 #1722047Weatherby’s have kindly donated a copy of this new book as a prize to the winner. Most of us will be familiar with Gary’s day from hell when he lost a LOT of money as a result of Frankie Dettori completing the ‘Magnificent Seven’ at Ascot. But there’s a lot more to Gary’s story and I’m sure the prize winner will have an entertaining and enjoyable read ahead when they receive the prize.
If you want to buy the book you can do so here – Fifty Years In The Betting Jungle
March 7, 2025 at 22:38 #1722069Once again David thanks for the lovely prize and thank you to Weatherby’s too

And Graham we are going to be staying in a place called Newtonmore which is only about 130 miles from you LOL
Just four more sleeps folks
March 8, 2025 at 05:41 #1722084You’re a good bit further north than me Nathan. I’ve not been up
that way but if the weather is kind I’m sure it wwill be a great
place for rambling

You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
