Lots of the old comedies are still shown on the somewhat more obscure channels. Forces TV and That’s TV are particularly good. Drama and Gold are quite good as well.
That’s TV has been showing Benny Hill, Les Dawson (“Sez Les”) and Monty Python.
Forces TV has started showing “Sorry!” starring Ronnie Corbett. Language Timothy!!
Who can forget Kenny ‘All in the best possible taste’, gone much too soon like Freddy. That was hilarious Tatling thank you
and Honky Tonks Cork..lol and all those comedy writers like Croft, Perry and Sullivan were priceless…irreplaceable.Have to add Dave Allen I loved his wicked sense of humour…
