March 19, 2022 at 11:32 #1588906Wd Aaronizneez, and thanks BigG and Triptych for the score updates.
Can you double check my Friday score please, as I make it this. Thanks.
16 – 36 – 38 – 52 = 142
March 19, 2022 at 11:45 #1588910Just heading out Mike, I’ll check it when I get back, and any others
March 19, 2022 at 11:56 #1588913No worries Graham in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t make much difference and I imagine it’s chaos scoring these comps with paper and pencil!
Thanks again mate! Take Care
March 19, 2022 at 13:19 #1588958I’m on the Ferry. I sorted yours out very early morning Andre, it was Mike asking me to have a look at his as I was leaving
March 19, 2022 at 18:41 #1589014That’s you sorted Mike, apologies, I missed your nap
on Billaway, which accounted for the extra 8 points.March 19, 2022 at 23:26 #1589033Now Graham has sorted his final shout (well I hope he has )
It’s time for a little bit of fun to see us all out

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 20, 2022 at 12:34 #1589104omg Jac – I’d forgotten how funny he was. Thanks for sharing! and yes, so many shows that we enjoyed back then would never see the light of day today….. Till Death Us do Part, Steptoe and Son, Are You Being Served – there’s an endless list. Lots of very good memories.
March 20, 2022 at 13:54 #1589109Add in Kenny Everett – check out ‘Dallasty’ a particular favourite of mine!
BUY THE SUN
March 20, 2022 at 14:01 #1589112Lots of the old comedies are still shown on the somewhat more obscure channels. Forces TV and That’s TV are particularly good. Drama and Gold are quite good as well.
That’s TV has been showing Benny Hill, Les Dawson (“Sez Les”) and Monty Python.
Forces TV has started showing “Sorry!” starring Ronnie Corbett. Language Timothy!!
March 20, 2022 at 15:17 #1589121Don’t forget this character either, honkytonks.
March 20, 2022 at 16:15 #1589130Who can forget Kenny ‘All in the best possible taste’, gone much too soon like Freddy. That was hilarious Tatling thank you and Honky Tonks Cork..lol and all those comedy writers like Croft, Perry and Sullivan were priceless…irreplaceable.
Have to add Dave Allen I loved his wicked sense of humour… Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 20, 2022 at 16:32 #1589132I’ve messaged the top two who can claim their prize. Very well done Aaronizneez and Cork.
Big thanks to BigG and Triptych for doing the scoring.
I’ll try and rustle up a few prizes for any other comps anyone cares to run through the season.
March 21, 2022 at 03:56 #1589166Thanks Cormack, it does look a cracker of a book, I’m
sure it will be well received. I’ll see how things go
when it comes round to the next.March 21, 2022 at 17:52 #1589236“I’ve messaged the top two who can claim their prize.”
