Brilliant Aaron, great score that.
Thanks to Jac and Graham for running it
March 18, 2022 at 23:30 #1588817Very well done Aaronizneez
what a great score I was just happy to have stolen your lead for just the one day and can’t believe I hung on for 3rd place behind Cork who was knocking at the door all week after the ‘Commander’ came home for him..brilliant pick Cork.
.
Graham has to take the majority of credit for running this and making it so much fun with lots of updates while his head was about to boil over with the paperwork. Glad to have been able to help out on ‘wet Wednesday’ where we encountered ‘Reservegate’ but that was soon resolved once we read Nathan’s Rules and Regs..Thanks Nathan we do miss you running these you made it look oh so easy and of course we know it’s far from that. Thanks again Graham and to all who took part win or lose … 2 paracetamol and a hot toddy tonight and you’ll sleep like a baby.

March 19, 2022 at 01:15 #1588830Not that it really matters Graham, but I think I have 26 points on the last day – you only have me down for 18
Pied Piper – 3rd @ 7/2
Bardenstown Lad – 3rd @ 20/1
Minella Indo – 2nd @ 7/1
Dubai Quest – 4th @ 13/2Thanks mate!
March 19, 2022 at 01:26 #1588831I’ll sort that out for you Andre, my apologies mate. I’ll settle for only getting 1 wrong
today, unless the floodgates open
March 19, 2022 at 01:52 #1588832All done Andre. It would have to be Jac one day and you today that I fecked up
the scores, my own mates
March 19, 2022 at 05:06 #1588835Some great scores from folk. Many thanks to BigG and his glamorous assistants for taking the time out.
BUY THE SUN
March 19, 2022 at 07:44 #1588847Thanks again BigG and all helpers big, small and glamorous!
Some brilliant scores, inspired picks by the winners.
A trickle through the floodgates BigG, I think I got 28 points yesterday not 24 ?
A Plus Tard won @ 3/1 and Cobblers Dream 2nd @ 12/1 ?Not that it matters, miles behind the winners anyway and good fun to participate
March 19, 2022 at 07:47 #1588848Oh you are awful Tatling….but I like you..
JacSure Graham will put you right llavin it was a tough day for all of us near the top yesterday looking at final scores. Glad you enjoyed it. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 19, 2022 at 08:49 #1588862nice ne aaronizneez, great final total 👏 many thanks graham for all the work put in running the competition 👍
March 19, 2022 at 09:23 #1588866Hi Illavim, you’re absolutely right, for some reason I had marked 10
instead of 14 in your 3.30 box for A Plus Tard. I’ve no idea why I did
that, I’ll fix it right now, Apologies mate
March 19, 2022 at 09:31 #1588868All done Illavim, and thanks for pointing it out, it always
matters regardless where you finish and well done for getting
well into the upper half of the League
March 19, 2022 at 10:02 #1588875Many thanks all and nobody is more surprised than me that I managed to find a few winners.
Thanks also to BigG and Triptych for running the comp
March 19, 2022 at 10:04 #1588876Thanks very much BigG !
Very much appreciate all your sterling work running the competition
Amazed to be in the top half of the League
Next year will decide my picks then swap around first and second choices when I submit them as the reserves generally ran better than first choices
March 19, 2022 at 10:17 #1588881I know the feeling Illavim, my reserves normally do better than my first choices. Trying the bluff of reversing them didn’t work either when I tried it!
My form comments this time ‘prominent early, weakened from halfway’…, and for one who used to work in a bank I really ought to learn to read the Ts & Cs #Substitutegate

Well done Aaronizneez, a cracking third day made Day 4 a formality, ‘well clear last, eased’!

Thanks to BigG and Triptych for the work inovlved in running the competition.
March 19, 2022 at 10:49 #1588893Well done with that huge score Aaronizneez
Massive thank you to BigG and Triptych for keeping this great competition going. It really is a task and a half and it was nice for me to relax in the evenings for a change so thank you so much.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
