Aaronizneez streaks into the lead with an incredible 1 day score off 111 Points
A great nap with Flooring Porter, a great follow up with Love Envoy at 15/2 but rounded
off with the best of all, an incredible 40/1 final race winner with the Venetia Williams
trained Chambard. Top of the Cheltenham table and it’s going to take something special
to haul him in.It was a pretty tough day and I think The chasing pack, in 2nd 3rd and 4th, Cork, Isenglass
and Tryptych, with a mere 7 points between them won’t be giving in in a hurry. With the
ground being churned up over the 3 days it could be that big priced winners might just
be the order of the day on Friday. Great scores guys, in most other Cheltenham Competitions
you would be looking over your shoulder, but what can you do when someone goes on the
rampage as Arronizneez has doneBest of luck tomorrow all, it’s great to see such a big turnout, even if Jac and I have

I am still nicely in front on the meeting and will probably not get too involved tomorrow on what is often a bookies benefit day.

I.March 17, 2022 at 23:16 #1588349Lol Graham it certainly takes it’s toll when your sitting there adding up those scores and you have done and are doing an a
Amazing job keeping the interest soaring and updating the scoreboard.Feel for Tonge deserting Third Wind as I did too and letting the 40/1 shot go also..and Euroalien our Andre feeling a lot like most of us today with horses falling and getting beaten by longshots
But rally round we have tomorrow to put it all right..so best of luck .Aaronizneez that was an amazing 3rd day score well done We’re going to have to pull 1 or 2 out of the hat tomorrow to catch you. Jac

The best things in life are free.
But you can give them to the birds and bees.March 17, 2022 at 23:23 #1588352Thanks again to BigG and Triptych for all their work collating the scores. The competition really adds to the enjoyment of the week.
Glad I threw Mill Green in as one of my selections in the Pertemps which has just about kept me in it, although Aaronizneez must be trading at odds on in running! I was getting excited when Mill Green jumped the last in front but it soon became clear he was going to have to settle for third.
March 17, 2022 at 23:41 #1588358“Not that I’m grateful but you’ve added 20 points to my score. B-)”
Very honest of you Rummy, I’ll adjust it and you’ll just
have to start off with a winner tomorrow to compensateI would suggest that everyone check their scores and let me know if
there are any mistakes, even if to your advantage like honest RummyMarch 17, 2022 at 23:45 #1588359Here we go, all or nothing on the last day!

Banbridge (Au Fleuron)March 18, 2022 at 00:07 #1588364You’re all very welcome guys, I’m glad that Jac and I took it upon our ourselves
to keep it going, but I’ll need to learn something about spread sheets as these
columns are brutal. I ended up with everyone and their scores, but they were all
over the place. I had to copy and paste and move them around according to points.
There has to be an easier way than this, maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks
I’ve got word, Excel and Power Point and they most I use them for is writing letters. Those of a certain generation in here, will be pixxing themselves just now. Just you
wait, your turn will comeMarch 18, 2022 at 00:29 #1588367I think some on here could have done it with their eyes closed Graham. I was like you and I did Word Processing back in the Day but I couldn’t get a spreadsheet to add up the figures and keep the players names next to their updated scores.
It would be nice to keep our comps going with Royal Ascot being the next big one but more ‘little helpers’ or ‘bl@@dy huge helpers’ preferably with knowledge of spreadsheets are needed. Jac

March 18, 2022 at 08:36 #1588392Thanks all, probably my best day at Cheltenham since 1990 when New Halen was one of my winners. No chickens are being counted however especially as I’ve been known to tire badly on the run in. Thanks to Big G and Tryptych for running the comp again this year and although I’m by no means an excel expert I can take a look at doing a table for next year if required
