Is anyone going to be doing the Cheltenham Comp? I know we enjoy the comps in our house (Battle Of The Cakes) and if people are still interested I will willingly do the scoring and updates every night but if we have stopped doing them then that’s is okay but I am offering and throwing my hat into the ring so to speak
March 10, 2022 at 13:25 #1586348I started a thread for a TTTF Cheltenham Competition Raymo, it’s not a
patch on your usual Cheltenham Competition. I know you’ve had a bad year,
to be honest mine isn’t exactly peachy, I didn’t know if I was up to it.
Just about exhausted myself answering that eejit GT in the lounge. Thankfully
no more.I’ll pitch in with you if you feel up to it, or if not I’ll give it a run.
God help them if I doMarch 10, 2022 at 13:40 #1586353OK here we go

Blackbeard to conquer the World
March 10, 2022 at 16:52 #1586376Was wondering about this and the others of similar nature, got my hands full at the moment with Saturday handicaps and the Pricewise festival challenge. Personally I’d like Nathan’s Power Play myself but it’s up to the persons organising it to call the shots, and I respect that.
The best things in life are free.
But you can give them to the birds and bees.March 10, 2022 at 17:59 #1586381I didn’t have the heart to see it die Nathan
March 10, 2022 at 18:04 #1586382Rummy, I copied the rules from last year’s competition. I can’t quite remember,
what was the Power Play, it must have been earlier ?March 10, 2022 at 18:11 #1586384Thanks BigG
I’ll pick them up again in the future just not having much motivation at the moment
Next week will be tough is my favourite of the year, my brother would come around and we would drink and gamble far too much. Happy daysI used the powerplay in events like the breeders cup which have less days and races so that more points could be gained in theory. For a competition of this size I wouldn’t recommended it for work load purposes
Blackbeard to conquer the World
March 10, 2022 at 18:28 #1586388Thanks for running the competition BigG.
March 10, 2022 at 18:37 #1586390This has been a hard year for you Nathan and I understand that memories of
being with your brother at this time will be painful. Take it easy mate, I’ll
manage well enoughMarch 10, 2022 at 18:38 #1586392You’re welcome Cork, I hope you have a good week
March 10, 2022 at 19:52 #1586406Top man Graham
And any day you need a hand just let me know and I will willingly assistMarch 10, 2022 at 20:11 #1586421Appreciated Raymo
March 10, 2022 at 23:43 #1586434Graham you are a STAR⭐
I know how time consuming these competitions are but also how much fun we all have taking part. However, I think you should have at least one day to put your feet up and enjoy the racing without the worry of having to tot up the scores so would like to volunteer myself for Wednesday duty if that is ok I’ll do the scores and update the Leaderboard that night.
Nathan you enjoy the meeting and raise a glass to your brother.
Thanks also to Raymo and Mrs Raymo for being on standby for Graham.
It’s been a tough year for all of us. Best of luck.. JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out... -
