Has he fallen ? Wouldn’t be a surprise considering he’s by Generous.

He wasn’t on my radar for the Arkle or JLT but I thought he might be able to stay upright on his chase debut.

He reared his head a little at the first couple of fences, as if he wasn’t at all eager about the task ahead, and that’s a really weak fall. Just buckled on landing.

I was personally imprwssed enough with finians today, cooper was a bit sketchy again on the way round i felt and he gave the lead up 2 out to a braver ride from geragthy

Giving the weight away to movewiththetimes in hindsight that was probably a smart performance from finians, he had plenty left

He wont win an arkle though he definitley needs 2m4f atleast

thought the same after the race – he certainly doesn’t need any shorter than 2’4.

Would personally like to see him go RSA route, although that seems to be least likely at this stage if odds are anything to go on.

He’s got too much cruising speed for an RSA in my opinion.

JLT is the mixture of speed and stamina and I would target him at that.

Rsa was ruled out by tizzard last month and i have to agree, 2m4 round cheltenham looked perfect and if they had went a quicker gallop it would have only suited him more

7/1 still looks a fair price, im on at 12s that will do for now

Hopefully cooper gets a bit of confidence back hes looked a bit short of it recently!

Has anyone heard anything about Robin Roe, trained by Dan Skelton. I really liked him last year but since his injury I haven’t heard anything. He isn’t even featured in Dan Skelton’s stable tour on the Ladbrokes website.

I’ve not heard anything about Robin Roe since he returned to their yard after the injury. They’re probably taking their time for a Spring campaign.

Finian’s Oscar will be a tough nut to crack in the JLT. I thought Movewiththetimes was less the genuine, and not for the first time. I wonder if they’ll reach for the blinkers. I thought he wanted to tuck in behind the winner when finishing second at Newbury last season and didn’t appear to like being in front the other day. Talented but a little tricky.

Had a look on BF a couple of days ago for the Ryanair and noticed someone offering £2 @ 350 for Coney Island. The next lowest price was 34.0 so presume the guy meant to lay 35.0 and missed out decimal point.

Had a little sniggle to myself today when i saw someone wanting to back him for £2 @ 350.0, looks like he noticed his bank just went down 700 Quid :yahoo:

Hopefully it was not one of you guys :rose:
