Usually like an Antepost in this, and although a bit of a struggle to narrow one down, I went with Galeron.
Fifth in it last year, but downhill after that, and though a slight upturn at end of season, he probably merits the big drop in the weights.
I’ve bet him before, and he was poor, but I like one at entry stage, and he’ll do for me
The other two who appeal are Bopedro, and Arisaig. I know we’re due a “group horse in a handicap” winner of this, but that’s my three at this stage

Well that trial at wolves was a classic Jamie Spencer ride
(cock up if you back his mount today) no pen for the Lincoln La Boote was the horseInteresting that last years winner Godwinson is entered again, switched yards from Haggas to Channon. The same switch Johan made a few years back and won this race on his first start for the Channons. Same owners.
Checkandchallenge caught my eye in the entries. Hes either never run in a handicap or he hasnt for a long old time. Used to be that the future group class 4 year olds took this but I think the race has changed recently and its been going to older ones.
Potential interesting little story to this one on the cards with apprentice Jack Callan pencilled in to ride VTC’s fancy Galeron and his dad Neil down to ride Metal Merchant.
La Botte, Eternal Force, Shout, and Rogue Diplomat have progressive profiles and potentially any of them could win. As Rogue Diplomat is the biggest price of those I’ll throw a dart at him, 11-1 (10s boosted) ew 5 places.
Well shout lines up took the 10s 5 places PP
Six places with sky bet but couldn’t get more than a tanner on2½p.
If you are a tablet or smart phone hold your finger on the keys for other symbols, the number 1 has various fractions including ½.The more I know the less I understand.
