Obviously Cheltenham haven’t heard of the word "recession", my without the Festival membership is going up by £10 this coming season.
The increase has been £5 in each of the last two seasons. As ever it’s only a base figure as you have to pay extras on top of that if for example you want a seat at the "Open" Saturday. What sort of increase is there for full membership I wonder.its an extra £10 for full members as well. at least the £20 car parking fee for the festival hasent gone up,even though its sad that as members we have to pay extra for that.
Cheltenham Membership became rotten vfm for me once they started adding on all those seating and parking extras.
Seemed to me that many members joined only to be able to get grandstand seats for the Festival anyway, and there was little extra for the ‘true’ fans attending midweek in October.
Nevertheless it’s likely they can charge what they want.
