My only concern is that Nicky might send Constitution chasing.

He’s young enough to win at least 3 Champion Hurdles before going down that route although I expect Nicky may want to win 4 or 5 with him

Surely he,ll keep CH and Jonbon separate , there’s a lot of races to be won with them

I think given the age of the owner and the trainer, Constitution Hill will run in a maximum of two Champion Hurdles before going chasing.

No horse has ever won both the Champion Hurdle and the Cheltenham Gold Cup PROPERLY* and at the age of eight or nine Constitution Hill, all being well, will attempt it.

Haven’t placed it yet but when the next student loan payment comes in on 9th Jan I’m going to do the Lossiemouth (6/4 triumph), Allegori De Vassy (9/4 mares chase), Constitution Hill (4/11) treble – all prices with paddypower – – which pays around 9/1 which I think is very good. Only thing is the shop is a 45minute drive and I’ll probably have to do it in a few trips as I’m not sure what the max stake they’d take over the counter is? Thinking a cheeky £200 or so which would be the biggest multi bet I’ve ever placed!

You can’t really blame a bookie for being shorter in a NRNB book.

Cash back on all NRs yet still no Rule 4 to protect them regarding those who do run.

I’ll be playing a Hermes Allen/Lucia double and a Hermes Allen/Luccia/queens gamble treble first thing in the morning.

Probably a Hermes Allen/Queens gamble double as well.

Here’s how Hills bet the Ryanair – just the first few in the betting:

    4/5 ALLAHO
    4/5 Galopin Des Champs
    4/1 Edwardstone
    4/1 L’Homme Presse
    6/1 Bravemansgame
    6/1 Blue Lord
    7/1 Conflated
    7/1 Shishkin
    10/1 Fakir DD

    That’s 200%

They would not bet to that on the day, and while Hills are entitled to guard themselves, they need to price the races and not the horses as individuals. If the above is the field they envisage for this project, then they ought to price it as such.

6/1 nrnb on blue lord is a good bet

He will likely only run if allaho doesn’t and would be favourite most likely

You can only get 7s ante post

Allaho price is poor given that there’s a good chance he turns up following a prep run which creates question marks or after no prep run at all.

The Galopin Des Champs price is for all intents and purposes assuming that Allaho is a NR and is actually pretty fair. The problem is that 4/5 won’t make you rich and you’re likely lending WH your money for 3 months as even if Allaho doesn’t make it GDC will probably still head to the Gold Cup.

What could be an idea is to back a Gold Cup horse that will probably only run if it’s bottomless and would have a live chance and put it in a double with GDC in the Ryanair. More potential for return, but again likely lending WH your money and the possible disaster of the mud lark running on G/S anyway.

So the best idea is likely just to add GDC to any singles you were already going to do for the 5% chance of close to doubling your money. If WH are allowing you to use the daily bet boost on these then all the better.
