March 16, 2019 at 00:17 #1402434What happened to my points from Early Doors

You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.March 16, 2019 at 00:30 #1402438Hi Neil you are correct, I’ve added them now
Silly me
what I do is write it on paper and then type it up on here and cross off the points from the paper as I go along. With your points I’ve put them to close to your name so when I’ve just looked now it says RedRum7717 if you see what I mean.
Must try harderGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 16, 2019 at 10:17 #1402473Thanks for doing this Nathan. I don’t think I had my points for Early Doors either but it doesn’t matter now – not as if I’m going to win owt!
March 16, 2019 at 10:21 #1402474Looking at the table the last two races are missing off everyone’s scores

March 16, 2019 at 10:46 #1402484After finishing runner up in 2016 and 3rd last year Hot Fuss becomes the 2019 TRF Cheltenham Champion. Pat123 finishes runner up 5 points behind. 2006 Champion Grundy rolled back the clock to get the bronze. Those 3 pulled clear from the rest on a tricky last day for most of us.
Thank you all for taking part and making it a competitive comp.
Mrs Raymo won the cakes
.
Well done again Hot Fuss..
Hope to see you all again for the Aintree comp

March 17, 2019 at 01:17 #1402568Top scoring Hot Fuss, well done
As usual, many thanks Nathan for running this again, first class competition
March 17, 2019 at 09:55 #1402577Great festival HotFuss and Pat123,thanks Nathan.
Just a few words to Quelle Farce, loved how you scored less than my and Kevcal first day score after 4 days!!
March 17, 2019 at 11:45 #1402585Lol, I think he was due that one grundy
March 17, 2019 at 21:51 #1402622Thanks Nathan, hopefully I can make amends in the similar comps in the year.

Well with the flat like Royal Ascot & Glorious Goodwood it would be more luck than skill, but the could be some names with some connection like Early Doors, which was a good Comedy Series.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.March 18, 2019 at 17:00 #1402672Hey. It seems my Day Two comment has been misconstrued. I wasn’t trolling anyone, just identifying an unusual situation where the two with the best score on Day One got the worst score on Day Two, showing how damned difficult the whole game is! You can win big one day and lose big the next. Sums up the Festival really.
It certainly wasn’t any sort of slight on any contestant, sorry if it was made out to be.
I just got worse as the week progressed. Racing comments for my performance would be…Steady away, soon under pressure, never nearer, tailed off.
I only backed one winner all week and didn’t even punt on Frodon who I have loved for ages. Head overruling heart on that score. It is fun to listen to all the previews/podcasts and read all the tipsters beforehand, but that just complicates things doesn’t it?
Oh well, I’m an amateur compared to many of you guys, and I continue to learn a lot about the game from so many of your here.
March 18, 2019 at 19:52 #1402684Well done Hot Fuss , don’t know how you found those winners it was a really difficult 4 days and well played Pat and Grundy it really went down to the wire this year.

Nathan thanks so much for all your hard work you were so close to winning this bar the final day.
Look forwarding to the next one..Jac
