Shambles from Channel 4. Why couldn’t they have the adverts after the Wetherby race? Or at least show a delayed, full coverage of the race. Not a rational response I know, but it did make me want smash Lord Snooty’s face with a shovel.

get in line SaltyNovember 15, 2014 at 23:29 #495396It was frustrating, the whole point of the programme was to show those six races and to miss the greater part of one for adverts was ridiculous. Clearly they were thrown into disarray by the delay at Cheltenham but you’d think they’d have contingency for just that type of event.
But a bit unfair to blame the presenters, those decisions will surely be made by editors/producers.
November 16, 2014 at 09:16 #495404I know it wasn’t down to the presenters. As I said above it isn’t a rational response to want to re-arrange Lord Snooty’s features for something that he isn’t to blame for, but thare’s a reason why we have the phrase "don’t shoot the messenger".

November 16, 2014 at 14:21 #495441I pay 25p a race to watch it on Bet365: cheap at the twice the price to avoid Channel 4. Once the suits had got rid of McCririck it was all over. The last person on television to do the punter a service.

All the money for Uixandre here, apparently.

And from the sounds of Holt’s commentary it must have been all his.

Tedious repetition. Pack the game in for Christ’s sake.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

That’s the whole point – THEY DID! 2 minutes after the other bleeding adverts
