What has Channel 4 got against Doncaster? Since the revamp they have used every excuse not to use it as the preferred location.
Even Nick "pompous prat" Luck said when the Lincoln was postponed "I hope we are at Kempton next week it’s nearer home."
Today A/W Kempton is the preferred location over Doncaster and two jumps tracks have they fallen out with Arena Leisure group?
They seem to only want to sit as close to London at the moment as possible.
April 13, 2013 at 13:42 #436162I wonder if the studio wagon will be trekking up to the big meeting at Ayr next Saturday?
April 13, 2013 at 13:50 #436164Well, I’m thoroughly enjoying Ch 4 these days [was ok with it before; don’t have RUK or ATR] but very concerned that Emma has forgotten to put her skirt on this afternoon…
April 13, 2013 at 14:02 #436165Hilarious today was Emma trying to explain about the surface at Kempton and what it is made of.
April 13, 2013 at 15:53 #436171Dare I say this afternoons coverage was actually watchable. Not the greatest days racing, hence no Mr Luck and his constant drivel, but it was like the old days of C4 racing. Alice the main presenter on course rather than in the back of the tin truck. Emma looking great too
Just please replace Mick Fitz, luckily GC got the day off too.April 13, 2013 at 22:27 #436212Emma Spencer seems to be getting thinner. Her legs looked like chopsticks today. I think she needs a decent meal.

Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor said "A girl can’t be too rich or too thin." … She seems to have managed both.
April 14, 2013 at 16:42 #436273I miss the old BBC coverage of the Grand National, which focused much more on the horses and had fewer presenters.
