Yet again a horse that stays further winning.Value Is EverythingBloody Dettori thought the mare had it.
The things I want most in life are the things that I can't win.
Hopefully, some credit will be given to the horse as well and not all just about how great a ride he was given by Frankie
The fact that Point Lonsdale has finished so close (after being the first off the bridle a long way out) tells you all you really need to now about conditions.
It was one of his best rides ever and let’s face it: why would you retire, if you’re still that good and also able to get such decent rides?
LD73 Absolutely, the horse is brave and gave his all, but that
aside, Dettori got him over the line, a lot wouldn’t I reckon.
Either way, they rightly both deserve praise.I expect Kevin Stott watched the race with mixed feelings. But would he have won on the horse? It took a great ride from one of the all time greats, so the owner’s decision was justified.
Cork we’ll never know however you’ve have t wo lesser known jockeys have there day today , let’s face it Dettori got done by Allan today , a brilliant ride

It was a good ride but one of his best…….no.
That horse with another year on his back will be a force at 10-12F next year – just watching him in the winners enclosure surround by all those people as they were posing in front of the press clammering for pictures with Frankie continually kissing him on the nose…he was standing there quiet as you like.
