    Yes Cork, but let’s also give some credit to Roger Varian who is the owner’s best trainer by a country mile. I doubt that any of his other trainers would have handled KOS that successfully.

    I like Varian , he,s a very shrewd trainer , fair to say he watches AOB closely

    Agree, Varian is top class. He learned from Michael Jarvis, another class act.

    Varian certainly gets the most out of the horses he gets

    Hopefully king if steel stays in training

    Like westover given his size he should be much better at 4

    Varian comes over as more the old school of trainer that doesn’t talk up his horses with hyperbole and is much more considered in his comments.

    I agree with the Varian comments, he’s a trainer that I like to follow. Sadly not on this occasion, but King Of Steel is a likeable winner

    King Of Steel is better than I thought he was. His mass would have taken some power to haul through that ground. I wonder if they will keep him too easy ground though given how prone big horses can be to injury
