Lol one step a time. He was bought to be a chaser he just needs to go up in trip and try that first.
March 11, 2026 at 16:36 #1758611Well done Bobby
March 11, 2026 at 16:36 #1758612Minella Rocco was bought to be a Gold Cup horse and they completely ruined him chasing that goal. Would’ve won a couple of Stayers Hurdles imo.
March 11, 2026 at 16:37 #1758613Got a e.w double ( IET 7s ) with FTF at 4s , that’s looking nice , antepost looking after me for a change

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 11, 2026 at 16:42 #1758619I think he had so much confirmation bias on repeating the exact same tactics that worked so spectacularly at the DRF that he simply didn’t think that he could change tactics and work his way slowly to the front.
Instead he used up a lot of petrol (on the uphill part of the course away from the stands onto the back straight) which set the horse alight – the furlong fractions (sub to low 14s) were a clear indication that it was way too fast and that is the only reason those out the back got involved, with previous races the pace up front was at the high 14 to low 15s furlongs.
I very much doubt that he will ever gets his jumping fully sorted as he clearly can’t shorten at his fences, he can go long when on a perfectly long stride but when he is too long (but another stride will get him in too close to the fence) he just launches himself early and barely makes it.
He has the talent to win a race like this but his jumping will always have the ultimate say.
March 11, 2026 at 16:54 #1758630Whoever reported me for inappropriate …. Are you big enough to apologise ? , I can show the IET slip at 33s to if you don’t believe , I don’t make prices up …
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 11, 2026 at 16:55 #1758631Surely having the talent also means part of that talent must incorporate the aspect of jumping. Bit like saying a tennis player has talent but can’t hit the ball.
The more I know the less I understand.
March 11, 2026 at 16:57 #1758634Ah reported the evidence to , that’s doubly sad
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 11, 2026 at 17:13 #1758646Pleased for Craig Kieswetter he had an unfortunate career ending injury whilst at Somerset County Cricket Club. A horse of a lifetime he owns there.

March 11, 2026 at 17:20 #1758653You can find many examples in many different sports of individuals having all the talent in the world but lacking the actual fundamental application of said talent and as a result not reaching the heights their talents suggest they could.
Having great talent with an average apllication or fundamentals (jumping technique in this case) can work (as it did for Majborough at the DRF) far more than having great application but little talent to go with it – talent can offset quite a bit but there is always a limit and that is starting to be the case more often than not with Majborough.
Every so often he just might put it altogether and win a big race but he is worryingly making the same type of mistakes each time but considering just how many he does make, it is surprising that he has still yet to actually fall.
When he gets in close (like at the 3rd last) he tends to actually just go through the fence (landing back legs first) rather than going over it, thus lowering the risk of falling and when he is very long he tends to land either on top of the fence or barely over it, which is the type of mistake which would more likely unseat the rider (due to the large deceleration in speed) rather than making him falling.
March 11, 2026 at 17:22 #1758654He’s not learning is he , compared to the winner who’s completely straight forward
