March 11, 2026 at 16:08 #1758579Well done winners. How far is Willie behind now? Gained another 180k on Skelton.
March 11, 2026 at 16:09 #1758580Well done everyone on
March 11, 2026 at 16:09 #1758582That was impressive! Not many horses would’ve recovered after the last fence blunder … and he still ran away!
March 11, 2026 at 16:09 #1758583Punchestown vs Marine … Can’t wait

Majborough is just another El Fabiolo. Go back to hurdles now before his career is over.
It was an absolute shambles of a ride from Walsh too though to be fair. One of the worst I’ve ever seen in a big race. When you miss the kick, stay where you are ffs.
He completely emptied the horse early on like a fool.I really fancied Marine for this but Il Etait Temps would’ve been very tough to beat. Danny was never able to get him around Cheltenham without making huge mistakes previously.
Irish Panther would’ve faired best of the rest but his jumping completely fell to pieces also.
March 11, 2026 at 16:15 #1758587Think he needs to start being given the credit he richly deserves, his 7th G1 win on ground ranging from good to soft at trips from 2m to 2m5f and tough as steel to comeback from that awful fall at Ascot.
Hats off to the Mullins team for getting him back.
March 11, 2026 at 16:15 #1758588The market told you , the money came for IET , the fav needs heavy ground , he’s a big boat …. he’s also a hype horse that the public didn’t fall for
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 11, 2026 at 16:16 #1758590He’s a brilliant little horse , I have punted him antepost prev for the KG and I’d love to see him have a go at it , sadly I doubt I will
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 11, 2026 at 16:17 #1758591I think to be fair the horse has grown up a lot as he has gotten older – as a young hurdler he was a tearaway that you had the devils own job to get him to settle and conserve his energy but now he is the ultimate professional.
March 11, 2026 at 16:19 #1758593Ride of the week so far on the winner.
I put Majborough up as lay of the week but was given a huge amount of help by Mark Walsh. In contrast to Townend, that was about as brainless a ride as you will ever witness.
At least his replacement in the McManus job can go home tonight knowing that he didn’t produce the worst ride of the day..
March 11, 2026 at 16:24 #1758595Ruby says Majborough ran away – no criticism of the ride.
Quelle surprise.
March 11, 2026 at 16:24 #1758596Majborough is a stayer i keep saying it. If Galopin ran in that he’d be embarrassing as well. Let him jump fences at a slower speed, ride him like a good horse, and let’s see if he can jump them properly. He’s got the engine for a testing ground 2 miles because he’s going slower.
