He also won the race with Uxizandre. I agree though that I think Defi will come here after winning The Tingle Creek
Jp has only had 4 runners in the Ryanair since the race started apparently
4 runners in QMCC since 2011 too, which i was surprised to see.
If LR does come back though, and proves himself which is a big IF given he’s got WPM’s 2mile battalion to compete with, i see Defi going up to the Ryanair. Maybe he’ll run both here, who knows. Also possible LR won’t be good enough!

Tough enough race with my Ryanair hope A Plus Tard in there, along with the very useful Cadmium, who’s win in The Topham was very good. He’s one I’ll be following closely this season as well, but it would be nice to see Chacun return with a big run.

CPS v disappointing; no obvious excuses, seemed to jump pretty well. Proximity of Ordinary World throws doubt on the form.
What did you think Ham? If I’m being honest, I was disappointed, but not a total disaster.
Good to see A Plus Tard price to be as good as I thought he could be, and relieved at laying him for The Ryanair. I’d make him a realistic contender here.

I think Mullins probably left something to work with CPS – won on f.t.o last season but improved significantly for that.

I agree with him i fancy him more for the Ryanair than this atm.I hope Altior wins. I am not convinced Henderson ever really wanted to step up in distance with him. Once he was beaten at Ascot and it was clear the King George was off the agenda, there was really no point in going anywhere other than here.
This could be the race of the festival if Altior gets here fit , personally I think defi would win as he,d have to much speed ….hopefully they,ll be head to head at the last
