    Not a race I’d normally worry too much about, as most of my bumper bets are on track having seen something significant. However, I’ll go 66/1 each-way 5 places Lecky Watson to a small stake, big upside and only a small down side. Nominally a maiden but has run 3 very decent races to date and was first past the post on his second run before being demoted. Needs everything to go for him to win but certainly no forlorn hope to place.

    I won’t give up on queens gamble. Clearly not ideal getting beat last time out but looked fantastic in her 2 wins previously.

    It looks a weak renewal and nothing from Ireland really stands out. 18/1 is too much an overreaction. She came a close 2nd last time in listed race. It’s not like she completely bombed out.

    Thanks, mine got absolutely murdered around the furlong marker, but doubt it could have held the first two. Nice to have something at a fancy price in with a chance close home though!

    Everyone who knows me on the Scottish circuit will have heard about my obsession with bumpers, but the current crop are not great. Even a lot of Irish bumpers struggle for runners these days.
