4s …. Bookies taking no risks
January 21, 2023 at 14:48 #1631807Default favourite due to recency bias. Another Mullins one who wins well next probably end up favourite ;o)
January 21, 2023 at 15:26 #16318105/1 best price is absolutely shocking
This race is one of the least tempting ante post heats I’ve ever seen
A mullins big priced outsider will probably win
January 23, 2023 at 21:55 #1631991He’s won easily, beating horses with Irish Point ratings of 86 and 89, only one of which actually won Between The Flags.
He attracted ante-post support for the Champion Bumper before Saturday’s race, but whether or not that means he’s considered the best stable prospect for the race within the yard remains an unknown for me.
I’d expect the 4.25 at Leopardstown at the DRF on Sunday, 5th February, to be illuminating in the pecking order department – the yard won it with Facile Vega and Kilcruit in recent years.

132 rpr on debut, the highest of the season
Declared to run Saturday at DRF
Race won by facile vega, kilcruit, appreciate it and envoi allen in recent years

Same here for now, will see if P Mullins rides it.
February 2, 2023 at 13:06 #1633299He is yes
February 2, 2023 at 14:09 #1633307Western Diego looked a powerful unit the other day
Cheltenham, big field, decent pace will suit himBlackbeard to conquer the World
February 6, 2023 at 05:33 #1634210I’ll just stick with CDS.
February 6, 2023 at 13:53 #1634227Rumourmill says CDS not going so nothing for me in this for now, happy to wait.
February 6, 2023 at 19:32 #1634271Queens gamble runs in the rearranged listed bumper at market rasen tomorrow. There’s a couple of decent types in against her so interesting to see how she runs under a penalty.
February 6, 2023 at 21:53 #1634280Fact to File for me..backed it before debut at 25’s e/w..liked Patricks comments after the race saturday.
Ill have another dib on race day though..February 7, 2023 at 15:57 #1634386Yeah that’s not good.
That could be a fair chunk of ante post money down the pan.
She’s not ran for a while but if she was going to be winning at Cheltenham she should have been winning here regardless.
I doubt she’s even gonna turn up there now.
February 7, 2023 at 17:00 #1634392Queens Gamble wasn’t likely to be suited by a tight right handed track given her Cheltenham form. She bumped into a very, very good one today though. The Aintree Mares Bumper winner in fact (in my opinion).
February 7, 2023 at 18:18 #1634402Cheltenham still the plan with Queens Gamble and O’ Brien has said his horse will go to Aintree.
This makes me a happy person.
14’s now the queen! Hmmmm. <strokes chin in pensive mood>
February 7, 2023 at 18:53 #1634408What Champion Bumper winner doesn’t finish runner up at Market Rasen along the way?
Rocket!
Certainty!
But not for me.

If only to cause you to choke on your biscuits Ian
You are no doubt correct though. I’m still coming to terms with the fact that my retirement bet from my yearly Cheltenham ante post stab is delayed by yet another year!
