Elliott now seeming to suggest Envoi Allen might turn up at Cheltenham
“He’s a nice horse. Jamie said he couldn’t pull him up, he said it was the start of the back straight before he could pull him up. He looks a very exciting horse. He’s obviously in the Cheltenham bumper and I’ll have to talk to the owners. He could have been very vulnerable there today on a track like that, but he showed that he’s a good horse.”
February 3, 2019 at 20:54 #1395100I’ve got Andy Dufresne in a couple of perms at 33’s, and Midnight Run is my long term fancy same price, but as he’s owned by Giggs, he must be odds on not to go.
I thought that Bigbadandbeautiful was the real eyecatcher today for Elliot/Codd, and though not in the market for this, she’s a horse I’ll be tracking for this and also further ahead.
February 3, 2019 at 21:06 #1395103VTC, caught my eye massively too. Either she is a tricky enough character or Codd didn’t give her the best ride today. Felt he left her with a lot to do, and took his time to actually decide whether to go wide or up the rail. All too late. Very promising.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 3, 2019 at 21:21 #1395108Yeah, got to be more to come from her, very decent run that.
February 19, 2019 at 20:31 #1398302Eden De Houx would be interesting if turning up here, 25/1 available last week (haven’t seen the prices since).
February 24, 2019 at 17:20 #1399011Bigbadandbeautiful is still a big fancy for me here, but very happy there at Naas with Midnight Run.
Questionable whether he’ll go, getting close, and he’s also a Giggs horse, and has to turn it round with the fav, but had a small go at the 33’s before the off, and a bit more NRNB.
Midnight Run 16’s NRNB, and 33’s
February 24, 2019 at 21:05 #1399031VTC, any word on BB+B and the chances that she goes here?

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 24, 2019 at 21:51 #1399033Sorry Jack, not a word, certainly didn’t see her quoted during the week.
Maybe being saved for Punchestown?
February 25, 2019 at 14:15 #1399078Ah well- shes one to watch anyway. Thought her last run was very eye-catching as well. Not sure the ride was the best or most efficient. Either that or shes a tricky ride.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 27, 2019 at 12:00 #1399186She’s not entered Jack.
February 28, 2019 at 09:18 #1399267Eden Du Houx 20/1 NRNB
Really like his two wins, both from on the pace and he kept going well. Connections won this with Moon Racer previously and think he’ll have been trained to show up well. Not many in behind his listed win have run since but Enrilo (forth) won at the weekend to give it a little substance.
February 28, 2019 at 13:25 #1399277VTC, perhaps one for Aintree!

March 1, 2019 at 14:39 #1399399I love times for 2m races and in particular bumpers. Bad horses can’t run good times.
Blue Sari is awful price for this. Crap time, only 4 years old, nothing really on form & even narrative from yard sounds neutral. Mt leinster’s run behind this seasons best bumper horse Malone Rd stacks up robustly, even though he hasn’t done a whole pile since. He’s 25/1 and blue sari is 5/1

I like ML and I also like Master Debinair but I’m likely to focus on 2 horseS: Eden du Houx and Meticulous. Both have run in high quality races where the times are good and they’re both overpriced in my opinion. The yards would be a positive also.
This can be a tricky race but it can be easier to strike through horses e.g. Blue Sari, also Abacadabras – all out with a weak time before running out next time.
March 11, 2019 at 16:18 #1400701Donnacha O’Brien booked for Meticulous.
March 12, 2019 at 23:40 #1401598When was the last time Mullins only had one runner in the bumper..?
