Looks a certainty today if in good fettle. He is an odd one in that he seems to be prone to the odd sporadic poor run. Usually an infection or something. Nice days racing today in Clonmel, one of my favourite tracks for a variety of reasons so i hope the weather holds up.

November 13, 2014 at 17:13 #495034That was nice. He looks like he could go 3 miles and his jumping looks very solid indeed.

November 13, 2014 at 18:02 #495037was brilliant today bar a mistake at the 2nd. big player for the king george
November 13, 2014 at 18:28 #495039Excellent performance today but he raced very freely which would have to be a worry stepping up in trip. Perhaps this was just down to freshness, the King George will tell us more.
November 13, 2014 at 18:37 #495040I have never particularly liked the horse but visually that looked like his best performance over fences. Personally, I would still want to see him actually go past a horse that was also travelling well before getting too carried away.
November 13, 2014 at 18:57 #495043Is, and always has been, top notch. One to be wary of taking on in any company would be my watchword.
November 13, 2014 at 20:57 #495058Very impressed. Could go all the way to the top. personally think 3 miles around Kempton will be perfect.
Also kilutagh vic in the first race, despite jumping big has some engine!
Mullins to sweep up this year?

November 14, 2014 at 14:59 #495128Can see him going for a King George but how he is favourite for a Gold Cup is beyond me – the stable will be running Djakadam.

JJM, why the need to sound like you’re in the know? You did the same about Annie Power last year and were wrong. Who knows where they’ll run, it’s very early days and Djakadam or Champagne Fever or both may prove non stayers before Cheltenham. All we can do at this stage is make an educated guess based on the information we have.

Yes but how many could you have ahead of him? Silvianicco Conti et al look exposed now and while i think Lord Windemere is better than he sometimes lets on, they finished in a bit of heap last years. The division is in transition.
