Took the opening 10’s for Midnight Shadow, but despite that gone now, I’m confident I can better that in next day or so, as I can see a few others getting well bet. Definitely be having more on him, and hopefully at a bigger price.

I’d like to be with Coole Cody as well, but I’ll decide on him nearer the time.

The handicapper seems to have adjusted htese to be very tight on recent form, and it must help him to have a recent C/D race where many have run.

    166 Topofthecotswolds
    162 Midnight Shadow
    162 Lalor
    162 Zanza
    162 Dostal Phil
    162 Coole Cody
    161 Deyrann De Carjac

Not many can be readily counted out. No way would I go in too heavily on the basis of the above but I’ll have a little nibble on Topofthecotswolds – 33/1 1/5 odds 5 places WH and Skybet who is exposed but has a chance given the nudging the handicapper has done with marks of others. Top 5 finish certainly wouldn’t surprise.

Cepage each way. Ultra-consistent horse and, although he’s always on a tough mark because of his consistency, i can’t see how he’s a 20/1 shot with the trainer/jockey in good form.

Midnight Shadow will tempt me in for a win only bet if he hits 17/2 or bigger.

Maybe a bit loyal, but once again I’m going for Zanza. I still think he can run a big race. Last year at the same meeting he was cruising in the 2 mile handicap. This distance should be fine. Also added Beakstown because of his very interesting mark.

    Zanza 14/1 EW
    Beakstown 7/1

Why has Rachel got the Farinet ride ? , def a positive , Silver hallmark is the main bet here , as GAG has commented on there’s been plenty of money about and the Colin Parker form is working out , I’ll be disappointed if he,s not on the premises , at 7 there should be more to come , with yard form and again with the promise of more to come I’ll back up with Farinet inc rev forecast

    Silver hallmark

    Farinet

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

No silver hallmark , looking for another unexposed type , gone with Deyraan de carjac who hasn’t taken much racing but had some decent form as a novice and the yard are going OK , Inc rev forecast with Farinet

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

My only bet here is Topofthecotswolds at 33-1 ew. I think that he is capable of getting involved, and I think that he’s a realistic ew contender

I’m having just the one bet in this and I’m another on the Topofthecotswolds. Nice each way price to play with.

I nearly put Fusil Raffles in my TTF but didn’t because the trainer was going on about making him a 3 miler, which he isn’t. This is his trip though, has good course form and I think he’s the only proper graded horse in this handicap. I think 6-1 is fair and I’ve backed him to win.

At the other end of the market, I’ll put half a peanut ew on my little pal Francky du Berlais.

That was a well deserved win.
Didn’t see Dostal Phil but it sounded bad :-(

Didnt work the winner out. Backed him for this last year was unplaced so thought he preferred the old course. This year he wins it.
