Camera angle at Chepstow

What was that awful camera angle they used on the home straight at Chepstow today? Absolutely the worst I have seen for some time – gave no idea of what was happening bar the leader for the crucial part of the race.

It’s really bad. I’m not normally one for harking back to the TV coverage of times past, but the camera angles that the BBC used to use at Chepstow were the best.

And I won’t even start on present day coverage of the Grand National course…!

Is it an innovation for this season ? Agreed it doesn’t work at all . Horses still in strong contention not even in shot.

It is applaing and it is all since Sky Sports took over. Puts me off. I did another thread about it and I wondered does anyone know if it is possible to get the old proper pictures like we used to get from SIS
