Im with you Jac on Theoryofeverything he at least will like the
conditions having won his last two races on soft. He’s due to go
up to 94 so running off 91 I don’t think the 4lb extra should hold
him back I’ve backed him on the exchange at 26/1.I think Paddy The Squire looks well in off 87. Without interference
last time out he could have been a lot nearer that 3rd. He’s another
one that will handle the conditions better than most. Bet365 still
go 28/1. I can see that price halving before the off.Good luck everyone
September 28, 2024 at 07:16 #1708619Good luck Graham
Paddy The Squire looks to have all the right credentials including drawn in 21 so will pop a few pounds each way on him with my other choices.
Hope there are not too many non runners. No rain this morning just freezing cold, hope the sun comes out as the course seems to be drying out well.
Good racing in prospect.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 28, 2024 at 10:03 #1708632I take it back, Roi runs on the Rowley. Better not win or I quit.
September 28, 2024 at 11:53 #1708657Backed several in this for small amounts but still might not get the winner.
My main two are Balmacara 28s ew (drawn one) and my usual Dual Identity 25s (drawn 30).
Good luck.September 28, 2024 at 12:13 #1708665Something drawn high in the 20s and similar price, Silver Sword.
The more I know the less I understand.
September 28, 2024 at 12:58 #1708674Bennetot @27s & bopedro @23s
Was going to back PTS but hes been backed in too short currently, if i can get 25s at the off ill be on him also
September 28, 2024 at 14:25 #1708691Added Bennetot 22s
Have a few in this, now, as i’ve hardly ‘played’ the other races today.
Best of luck to all
September 28, 2024 at 15:31 #1708706That Under Siege form can’t be ignored off a mark of 94. 1.5 lengths behind Economics on debut and backed that up at York in a good novice; slight question mark about the trip
La Trinidad’s price is too big
Toimy Son in the extra place markets
September 28, 2024 at 15:37 #1708708Norwalk Havoc at 19s EW and Theoryofeverything 22s EW.

Crazy draw bias
September 28, 2024 at 16:06 #1708713“Crazy draw bias”
Hats off to Richard Hoiles on The Morning Show today; he wasnt convinced by the High draw bias of recent years, because of this year’s softer ground.
September 28, 2024 at 17:23 #1708722It’s not a good look that one of the ‘Premier’ racecourses provides a surface such that only a third of the runners in one of their major races of the season had any chance. Well done to those who cracked the draw, lesson probably being to split the race into separate low draw and high draw races and ignore the middle.
September 28, 2024 at 21:12 #1708732Thanks RTB, Mike…
Ran away with it
Well done Wilts it was the year of the low draw not many on the stands side got a look in.
Terrific race and all the horses so well behaved in the Parade Ring.
