for me the wrong horse is favourite here- the jolly should be pure science.
looked like an absolute galloping machine when it won at warwick- the soft ground should be right up it’s street.
anyone else get involved in betting on bumpers? <!– s:shock: –>
<!– s:shock: –>February 9, 2013 at 17:26 #429007needs four miles that horse! looked hopelessly slow.
bumpers are random at the best of times but I had henry candy’s in the last at warwick so not too much damage done.

Not seen many this season though that will trouble the Irish at the festival.
February 11, 2013 at 15:13 #429264There’s a nice little form line going form the third in the Newbury event Caledonia. He won a bumper back in October at Kelso from which the 2nd (Enchanted Garden), 3rd (Spitz) and 6th (Just Cameron) have all come out and won since and the fourth Bop Along, bought as a ‘chasing prospect’, pleased his owners over hurdles before a tendon injury cut short his campaign. The only one to let the side down has been the fifth Regal Ramirez, but I think he will be better given time.
Keep an eye on anything finishing close up in bumpers at Kelso as they regularly prove strong contests.

I’ve held the belief that Union Dues showed the best performance of the Irish this season, but I’ve been told by a fella today that Clondaw Court is the best of Mullins’. Not sure if the source is reliable or not but we’ll find out in March I suppose. Le Vent D’Antan was another which impressed me.
For personal reason’s I’m hoping Empiracle will show up well at Cheltenham, he looked a machine winning his bumper at Huntingdon.

I’m on Clondaw and Golantilla in the bumper
