Racing Post say Swiss Spirit "hampered start".
Timeform say Swiss Spirit "badly hampered start".I had a good bet on Swiss Spirit at the weekend too Prof, but I would not blame the jockey. Indeed, Buick did exceptionally well to get in to a challenging position.
And as for Starscope, I’ll say no more than…
She’s a "squiggle" horse.
If you think those two races were jockey/trainer error Prof, then I fear for your race reading skills. But that is nothing new.

What I like in expensive races is to see everyone trying like mad. So refreshing, is it not?

I think I heard Gosden say she banged her head before coming out of the stalls. She is, as Ginger said, a bit of a rogue and it amazed me that someone on one of the professional tipping sites put her up as their five star nap on her seasonal debut. She may well pop up at big odds one day but I won’t be on her when she does.

You know very well Prof that you inferred criticism on Buick and Gosden.
Starscope may well come up at 20/1 one day Prof, I might even be on it myself in the right circumstances. But at around 7/1 in that company today… no thank you.
