What a cowardly move from Nicholls. If Sir Gerhard could tug is way around 2M5F and still win easy with his class then surely Bravemansgame would have no problem running over his actual distance in it.
I don’t think Nicholls ever truly wanted to come here in the first place. He said as much a couple of months ago but I think the owners probably overruled him. He just has King George planted in the brain.

Mike, that was bloody decent of Nicholls texting you before he pulled out Bravemansgame, giving you the chance to cash out.

    Well done Paul Nicholls

Really pleased to see Venetia Williams win again at the festival. But how good would Ahoy Senor be if he could jump?

Unlucky Farouk d’alene backers he was travelling well. Don’t think he would have got to the winner. Great to see a front running horse jumping well and winning. Gaillard du Mesnil closing at the finish I notice. Capodanno finished ok considering he jumped very novicey.

Great ride and performance. Really fancy this lad for next years Gold Cup if he stays sound.

    “what a superb ride”

Certainly got the horse jumping brilliantly so good ride yes. But tbh had Amor Senor gone even more right handed early – like everyone knows he can… Jumping into him and unseating Charlie, we’d be saying the opposite. Should have switched inside and taken the rail, going up the inner of Amor.
