Can’t wait to see Colin Keane ride in a top international race. Hope he wins it, but there’s enough there to put me off Siskin as a bet.
Back on better ground Lope Y Fernandez is surely overpriced with Frankie on board?Would be keen to take Kameko on here anyway.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 3, 2020 at 13:12 #1508489I had a good think about Siskin, as I like him a lot on fast ground, but judging by how quick they normally go in the US at a mile, round tight bends, I don’t think this is going to suit him at all and I think it’s more likely to see him travelling ok, but running out of steam quickly and jogging home last than it is winning.
It really is a great looking race though, the 3 behind Kameko in the market are all Group 1 winners and all have a run at the back from off the pace style. They are all drawn wide, so they will just drop in and all the British and Irish runners are drawn low, so in theory should get a decent position, but I don’t think Circus Maximus is going to be able to get in front from stall 1. I can see him getting swamped actually.
Kameko has a great draw, couldn’t have been much better really. He jumps well from the gate so hopefully he will do it again and Oisin can get him into a great position in behind a couple of leaders going off strongly and then he should run his race from there. It’s just whether something from the back runs him down late, as he doesn’t seem to do a lot in front Kameko, hopefully Oisin won’t produce him too soon.
Really excited to watch this one

November 7, 2020 at 21:12 #1510012Couldn’t agree more FF. He’s had some year.
123 for Aiden. Not a bad way to break his duck in the race.
November 7, 2020 at 21:13 #1510013Ps, for Guineas winners Kameko and Siskin have been disappointments. Both promised so much.
November 7, 2020 at 21:30 #1510014If he wins on mogul that would be some treble on 3 widely drawn horses
November 8, 2020 at 01:40 #1510053What can you say. When did aiden last have horses at such long odds in a big race. I only fancied lope to be honest but 1,2,3. As good a training performance as his arc 123 as this was the strongest us opposition in the mile there has been for ages.
