Jack Christopher doubly entered, but big chance if he goes here.

Doesn’t really stay 1m1f, but this looks ideal.

What a brilliant story around Cody’s wish

    Really quite emotional

You could hear it in the presenters voices after he won, they were struggling to talk

Amazing story. What were the chances that foal would turn out to be a champion? Coming to a cinema near you in a couple of years time!

One of the great Breeders cup moments was that. All it missed was Cody reuniting with Cody after the race.

I don’t often get emotional about a horse’s backstory but man, Cody’s Wish got me. Reminds me why I love this sport.

    Agree miss Woodford

No financial involvement but was cheering him on

They went an absolutely suicidal early gallop again, some of the American jockeys seem to be very much lacking in common sense

Ironic that a horse called slow down Andy helped set that ridiculous pace

22s for the opening 2 furlongs in a mile race

“some of the American jockeys seem to be very much lacking in common sense”

It’s not a jockey thing, it’s drilled into the horses: gate speed, gate speed, gate speed. My theory is that Bobby Frankel, Todd Pletcher and Bob Baffert who all started out training Quarter Horses brought that strategy over and it became the accepted way of doing things because the big guys were doing it and winning.
