Bit of a way out, but surprised not to see Althiqa in the betting for this.
Campaigned in USA this season by Appleby for Godolphin after good spin in Meydan, has won 2 grade 1’s from 2 starts and seems to have been seasoned there for this in mind, it will be to her benefit to have been acclimatised and running well there.
She showed a lot of ability early and ran well in her 3yo career in UK but never quite fired, seems to be better now as a 4yo. Not saying most likely winner, but would have though she was a consideration.
