Just a word of warning to anyone going for a ” lifechanger ” Ante post multiple or something. Paddy power and Betfair have reduced the limit to 50k for all ante post bets from 250K.

It’s worth knowing just in case anyone did hit the jackpot.

Bummer, I usually do a few ridiculous 10p ones for next year’s Cheltenham with loads of horses at stupid prices , half of which won’t end up in the races I’ve backed them for. But it’s fun. With the big reduction in limit it’s more like buying a scratchcard than a proper lottery ticket. Not my thing.

The same limit as virtual racing. Pathetic!

    Nathan beat me to it.

If you can get on, make sure your unit stake doesn’t take you over the max if every horse in the multiple cops and, if you have to, get off your online device, get the exercise of a brisk stroll round the shops in your nearest town/city centre and get your bets on that way.

When collecting, enlist the services of H & C (Hughesey & Chezza) Security to get the money safely home, because remember: in this life you can achieve more with a kind word – and a gun – than you can with a kind word.

    Good luck!

Presumably Paddy Power pays Peter Crouch so much money for those irritating adverts they can no longer afford a decent pay out on a Lucky 63.

I wonder if Matt Chapman, Gina Bryce and Jane Mangan – all featured in Paddy Power adverts – have anything to say about it? ;-)

Be very careful that’s how John Stonehouse got caught – he’d taken out a lot of money in the morning from a particular bank in the citi and the bank teller that served him was later out on his lunch break and watched devious John enter another a different bank and as he munched his sandwiches he thought Why ?

I never do multiple bets – fools gold in my opinion – but do not blame people chancing their arm. My uncle knew someone who did £50 a leg Piggott multiples and struck some big wins !

I have known a couple of people that have been caught out with Ladbrokes by limits when some of their selections were not on “full service”, usually happens on bank holidays.

I had one lined up, not worth it now.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.
